Haberman's book is out based on interviews. I won't read it, but the excerpts are interesting. Especially what he says about McConnell, a description that's against the Terms of Service here, but I actually don't disagree with. LOL

US President Donald Trump has said he will impose 25% tariffs and sanctions on Colombia after its president barred two US military planes carrying deported migrants from landing in the country.
Trump said the tariffs "on all goods" coming into the US from Colombia would be put in place "immediately", and in one week the 25% tariffs would be raised to 50%.
Colombian President Gustavo Petro responded by saying he would impose 50% tariffs on the US.

The video of the illegal immigrants in shackles and chains does send a powerful image.
Trump said that Columbia agreed to take the illegal immigrants back, so not sure what happened there. But if he agreed then he shouldn't have turned them away as that is bad diplomacy. His statement in response to Trump is an interesting read.
Can we clarify the "degrading behavior" (as asked) by simply indicating that this is how Trump and his sychophants behave because they like to use cruelty as a deterrent?
