I confess to back pedaling into Trump territory when I wanted to leave discussions about him in the garbage can. My thread on the read-only break room site has 9,600 replies so I thought I'd bring up a new one.
He's not going away.
Haberman's book is out based on interviews. I won't read it, but the excerpts are interesting. Especially what he says about McConnell, a description that's against the Terms of Service here, but I actually don't disagree with. LOL
Quote“At one point, Trump made a candid admission that was as jarring as it was ultimately unsurprising. ‘The question I get asked more than any other question: “If you had it to do again, would you have done it?”’Trump said of running for president. ‘The answer is, yeah, I think so. Because here’s the way I look at it. I have so many rich friends and nobody knows who they are.’ … Reflecting on the meaning of having been president of the United States, his first impulse was not to mention public service, or what he felt he’d accomplished, only that it appeared to be a vehicle for fame, and that many experiences were only worth having if someone else envied them.”

Yes. He probably has a partial bowel prolaps. He's not fit for office because he farts allot.
He's a demented, crazy farting Hitler who will break our republic with his intestinal gas.
If elected he will pass gas at all the illegal aliens who will then be forced to deport themself. All the while his Nazi scientist will teach him to expell gas that is only foul smelling to POC. Oh and enact P2025.

It's pretty ridiculous to think that a president could just implement the things in P2025 with a wave of his hand. Fake phobia alert!!
Beerman said:Sure, just another Hitler, isn't he?
I don't think I said he was Hitler. I said his former chief of staff said he wanted generals like Hitler had.
But now that I think of it, Hitler called the press the enemy of the people. He targeted a group of people and blamed them for all of his country's ills. He demonized his perceived enemies and used dehumanizing language when he talked about them. His followers worshiped him as a cult-like figure.
Do you imagine that Trump is going to have anyone in his administration that will moderate his impulsivity?

Regardless, everyone's lived through a Trump presidency. If he really is Hitleresque, I imagine he'll lose badly.
The desperation is from the Democratic party, liberal media, and all that hate Trump. Recycling old narratives that not only didn't work, but also backfired.
I wasn't aware of the problem you mentioned. You follow his moves closer than me, I guess.
I think they follow Trump more than MAGA does LOL.
I wonder what they will do if he loses then drops out of politics?
Crusades said:Trump "nazi generals" comment is an allegation written in a book someone is trying to sell.
Yes. We have lived through a Trump presidency and guess what? He didn't turn in to Hitler for a whole 4 years. Or any of the other desparaging names.
Trump says things like the dictator comment on purpose to troll democrats. And it works hilariously. Effective on showing the lack of rational thought and the desperate length that they will go to.
Seriously. Halloween is almost here and will be over soon. Wil you then quit with the scary P2025?
What will you say if he wins and none of that happens? LOL. Keep saying just like the Hiter warnings?
It's a statement made on audio tape by a retired 4 star General who was the senior most person in the Trump administration. Kelly spent the most time behind closed doors with the former president. The allegation isn't in the book, is in the interview he just gave.

Ignorance is a feature of MAGA.

Cool. Let's have a listen.
So why now? It's been 8 yrs. He had all that time in his 4 star General life to release this info. Via print or words.
Harris' campaign is joy. Hitler had a movement "power through joy" so she's literally Hitler but a communist. Oh and she wants to disarm the population (even of only a little bit) and control "disinformation" More Nazi.
Am I supposed to be insulted by "MAGA". After being called a Nazi, nothing offends me anymore. MAGA no MAGA don't care.
How dumb. Kind of fun tho. I'm beginning to see the appeal.
toomuchbaloney said:It is pretty notable that the republican candidate who says he'll only be a dictator on day one also said that he wanted his generals to be like Hitler's generals. It's also notable that the candidate was unaware that Hitler's generals plotted to kill him. That candidate said that Hitler did some good things.
Yes. We lived through a Trump presidency where we observed that a handful of people were instrumental in holding the republics guardrails in place while Trump repeatedly rammed his power into them. Now we know that the republican party has developed a plan to overcome that type of patriotic obstruction in a future republican administration. P2025 is a blueprint for ending our republic.
I think the republican acceptance of that thinking to be more based in curated ignorance and indoctrination than desperation.
Did you catch Mark Halperin's online focus group discussion with 9 undecided PA voters?
One spoke about how the Hitler narrative is pushing him to Trump and why. Halperin then asked the group if they thought it was important for Harris to be talking about it. Not one person raised their hand.
As I said, it's a tired narrative and if anything will backfire.

Plenty of liberals and media were calling Kelly a liar back when he was working under Trump. Including Senator Kamala Harris.
Now, he's a trustworthy source. 🤔

Democrats are finding out how unpopular their extreme and unconstitutional ideas are, aren't they? So much so that the candidates on the presidential ticket have to pretend they don't subscribe to those ideas.

It just shows the lack discernment in American voters secondary to the confused way that our media handles the reality that a fascist movement is trying to over take our republic.
That's pretty sad that Americans will vote for the felon who is clearly an authoritarian fascist and tells obvious lies about FEMA and elections and the DOJ while he calls the country a garbage can.
Harris isn't going to back away from pointing out who Trump is in comparison to who she is. Poorly informed voters are going to be confronted with the uncomfortable truth about Trump; he's an unstable fascist who cannot be trusted.
