Just a bit ago the top three threads involved:

1.I have a DWI. Can I be a nurse?

2.I am stupid. Can I be a nurse?

3.If it takes me five times to pass NCLEX, Can I be nurse.

Not much left to add. Says it all.

Wow. According to that person's profile, she was pregnant in nursing school. Which wasn't too long ago, so she has a baby at home. Urgh.

we have a saying in scouts that if they pay you to do scouting, you're a professional; if you're not paid to do scouting, you're a volunteer; but if you pay to do scouting, you're a real scouter.

looking at my tax return this year for all the $$ i spent on ceus and cert exam and conferences, i guess i must be a real nurse.

I think it was moved to the "Nurses with a Criminal History" forum.

The fact that we even need such a forum saddens me greatly.

I'm way behind on this thread. Laughing so hard there are tears running down my legs.

Many "old bats" got me to where I am now as a RN. I'm not quite in the "old bat" arena but when that day comes I'll wear my badge proudly.

I have a beautiful heart, however I heard some batty old nurses say MEAN THINGS about their patients out of earshot! When I get to be a nurse, I'll NEVER become frustrated by ANYTHING! I'm going to fairy-pants around the hospital spraying butterflies and JOY out of my neither-regions.
