Just a bit ago the top three threads involved:
1.I have a DWI. Can I be a nurse?
2.I am stupid. Can I be a nurse?
3.If it takes me five times to pass NCLEX, Can I be nurse.
Not much left to add. Says it all.
There is also a forum for nurses recovering from addiction and another forum dedicated to nurses with mental and physical issues.
Those don't bother me. And the criminal forum doesn't bother me when the crime is in the distant past, the person has taken their punishment and moved on. But when you're in nursing school, have the common sense not to drive drunk! It's not hard. You need to drive? DON'T DRINK. You want to drink? DON'T DRIVE!
I have a beautiful heart, however I heard some batty old nurses say MEAN THINGS about their patients out of earshot! When I get to be a nurse, I'll NEVER become frustrated by ANYTHING! I'm going to fairy-pants around the hospital spraying butterflies and JOY out of my neither-regions.Ok.
