Just a bit ago the top three threads involved:

1.I have a DWI. Can I be a nurse?

2.I am stupid. Can I be a nurse?

3.If it takes me five times to pass NCLEX, Can I be nurse.

Not much left to add. Says it all.

Oh, the horror. Please to not be forgetting that my resume is very diverse, and that I have never ONCE made a mistake while working!!!!

That is going to be an interesting thread. She really isn't getting that she made a huge error in judgement does she? I expect a " nurse eating their young comment" any minute now!

I was appalled! I think she's been beat up enough for it already, so I didn't say anything. I'm just trying to wrap my head around it. I've been in a lot of hospitals, but I can't remember ever seeing an area so "public" used for pre-planning that I would be okay taking my man with me. Hope they take her at her word and she doesn't get kicked out though.

It's OK. Someone already posted that she is great and caring person and she will be fine!Frankly, I think they need to at least suspend her and scare some common sense into her!

I can tell you if it had been my program, she'd have been handed her cap and escorted out by security.

I don't understand that generation. All in all, no one was unkind to her; she was just getting some frank criticism for what she'd done. You can't make some things better with a hug and a lollipop.
