Democrats are excited about Harris and as of this writing she's raised 100 million dollars since Biden announced he was dropping out and throwing his support behind her.
Quote"Republicans, I worry, vastly underestimate Kamala Harris. They don't think very highly of her. They don't think she's terribly bright. When you or I bring up Kamala Harris' name in Republican circles, people laugh. It's immediately a punchline," Cruz said Monday on his podcast "Verdict with Ted Cruz."
Cruz warned against Republicans preemptively celebrating a Trump-Vance win months out from the election, arguing Democrats and the media will promote Harris as an "historic" candidate.

Harris strikes measured contrast with Trump's contentious appearance before Black journalists
Watch 48min interview: https://thegrio.com/2024/09/17/livestream-watch-nabj-whyys-conversation-with-vice-president-kamala-harris/
The PA one from Friday wasn't much of an interview as it was a chance for her to repeat a few of her rehearsed debate answers.
The one before black journalists was simply a disaster.
The Biden/Harris administration's approval rating has improved. Almost up to where Trump's was at this stage.

Didn't I link to the NABJ interview?
Is it noteworthy that she gave a good interview showing discipline and calm and control while answering questions with thoughtful responses? The contrast of her interview versus Trump's interview for the same group is striking isn't it? Trump sputtered and rambled in angry word salad and Harris answered questions using humor and empathy and critical thinking.

By "thoughtfully" do you mean talking about nothing while trying to think of something of substance to say?

Hahaha
That projection isn't going to work. That's Trump's problem. He thinks tariffs are the answer to working parent's childcare troubles and that energy is the answer to grocery costs. Maybe all of that crazy word salad, peppered with concepts of plans, makes more sense if the audience shares in Trump's delusional thinking. That must be it.

QuoteThe signatories of a letter endorsing the Democratic vice president included former members of Congress, defense secretaries, C.I.A. directors and other national security officials.
In a letter to the public, the Republicans, including both vocal longtime Trump opponents and others who had not endorsed Joseph R. Biden Jr. in 2020, argued that while they might "disagree with Kamala Harris" on many issues, Mr. Trump had demonstrated "dangerous qualities.” Those include, they said, "unusual affinity" for dictators like President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia and "contempt for the norms of decent, ethical and lawful behavior.”
"As president,” the letter said, "he promoted daily chaos in government, praised our enemies and undermined our allies, politicized the military and disparaged our veterans, prioritized his personal interest above American interests and betrayed our values, democracy and this country's founding documents.”

Really? But yeah there's a lot of support for Trump out there. It seems the sting of inflation will bite Harris wherever she goes.
Polls are showing she pulled ahead of Trump. But a poll is just one poll and a snapshot of a few people at a given time.
Mind you, your video is set in Reno and the rally below is in Las Vegas. Reno apparently is a battleground county and not necessarily blue.

I think the economy and the Middle East are dragging him down. But inflation is cooling down and Democrats approve of him dropping out perhaps some are looking at him with a softer spot.
He's not so close to Trump at this point, but similar to G.W.Bush who was also subpar. Clinton, Bush Sr. and Raegan were much higher than Trump and Biden at this point.

This article blames "Republican critics" for the Border Czar label. Therefore, it has no credibility.

The "border czar" label was conceived by Republicans and repeated by the press. The label is not credible.
