I am glad I have a plan. Otherwise I might just go home and drink heavily...
Sometimes my plan involves a glass (or two) of wine.
I like my plan .

Yesterday after school we went to the mega-cavern with my in-laws and kiddos (17 miles of underground Christmas lights). My toddlers were SOOOO excited. I loved it. Then we went to Rally's, where I proceeded to eat WAY too much. Highlight of the night.... The kids slept in their OWN beds ALL night! Hallelujah! I am pretty sure that has never happened. I woke up at 0300 thinking "Holy crap, I hope they are still alive..." And apparently drifted off to sleep before checking on them. Whoops.

Busy afternoon for me. Left school, picked 1 child up at sports practice at school brought him home and started dinner, picked up other dear child at play tryouts and then on to basketball for dear darling #1. Thankfully my husband picked him up from practice at the end so I could write my paper due last night for grad school. I'm beat. I cannot wait til Christmas break-no school (work school) and no school (grad school). I'm sleeping in every day!!!

Remember those days. Congratulations. May this be the first of many.
Drove kids home (blessed to work with my kids), wife took one from school for an appointment. Fed 2 kids and had dinner ready for wife and other kid so we could head out right after they ate. Went to a retirement apartment with the Scouts and sang Christmas Carols and Bingo, followed by driving around taking in the lights. Won't lie, had a nice hour in the hot tub with kiddos, love that time with them. All in all, a great night.

I had kids in my 20s! I had 3 before I was 28 (and no more since )
I can't imagine having kids right now. The thought of having to be a responsible adult and be an example is terrifying.
