That Cubs parade shut the city down! I lived right near Wrigley then and my husband couldn't even get to work because there were too many people blocking the train station and all of the buses were rerouted. It was a magical day even for a grumpy lifelong White Sox fan like me.

Hey! White Sox fan here too! My whole family is South Side. I was super happy for all the Cubs fans. A historical win, for sure! I can't imagine being right by Wrigley when it happened! A friend who traveled from the suburbs to the rally waited on the platform at Union Station for 3 hours for a train once it was over.

Yay! Saved by the fact I had to "borrow" equipment from the OR, meaning I had to change into OR scrubs and... my pink shoes. I have pink flowers on my socks too!
