Thanking God For A GREAT Position!

I just have to share, as I have just landed, what I feel is the best position I have EVER been offered!

I have accepted a full time position, at a Mental Health facility here in a rural area of W. Washington! I have been offered not only a totally excellent salary, benefits, tutition reimbursement to start immediately, but free housing, with utilities paid on the 17 acre property with a lake!!! And free meals! Their also going to have an onsite daycare, so I can bring my grandson to work with me!!!!

At this point I need somebody to pinch me quick!!! Because I'm having a hard time taking all of this in!:chuckle

heehee Thanks bluesky:kiss! It does sound that way, and keeping my fingers cross, but I have a verry good feeling about this place:D! OOhh I forgot one of the best parts! Noooo more scrubs or uniforms!!! Yippeee:chuckle

Thanks oramar and Christine:kiss! I just found out I will be commuting until they can get the suite set up. But that is cool for now, but I will be home on Tuesday, to give a report of my first day. Keeping my fingers crossed!

I sorry, but can't give a full report right now, there is a problem I need to have dealt with, and then can comment further. Except for a serious problem, which is in the nursing practice area, I 'm reserving judgement. I have been talking to a friend about a serious problem I have encountered, and just can't comment until I see what happens when I talk with the administrator.

But let me say this, IF this problem hadn't come up, ( and NO it's not something I did), I would be in nurses's heaven! The job is a cream puff, if there ever was one! I liked the CNA staff a lot, they are excellent, and even they have an easy job! And this morning we were served by the chef, scrambled eggs, sausage, toast and coffee:).

Thank you RN~in~CT, mattsmom81:chuckle, and neecie, all is true, but there is something that makes this a position I may have to walk away from, and I just don't want to...but I may have no choice! At least until this gets taken care of!

Well you can uncross your fingers, because I QUIT!!!

I can't say much right now, but I will tell you the ole saying, ...let's hear it now! "IF IT LOOKS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE...IT PROBABLY IS"! But that isn't even the HALF of it, and what's worse I probably don't even know the whole story yet!

What I'm talking about wasn't just scary working conditions, I'm talking about a whooooooole lot more! Check back later, and I will give you the horror story to end all horror stories!
