Anyone applying to Texas Women University? I recently attended an information session and spoke to Ms.Victoria the nursing coordinator for TWU. What are your stats? What advice to you give when studying for the TEAS? I know you have to apply for TWU first then get accepted. Then you apply to TWU NURSING. But I am somewhat confused on that process. I went to the apply portal and it does not give me the option to apply for FAll of 2016. I may have to wait. Any current TWU students that can give me any advice on the application process. It will be of great help. Thank you!

I submitted my app in mid-December and have not received any emails. When was this last one sent out?

No problem!

The last e mail was sent out on 01.21. You should be able to access your E mail through g mail directly or through pioneer portal.

You only need to send the transcripts to CAS. They will verify them. Nothing should be sent to TWU except your TEAS scores.

Actually, you do have to send transcripts to both NursingCAS and TWU from what I've heard? Can anyone else clarify?

If you have been admitted to TWU, they all ready have your transcripts so no need to send them again. If you have not been admitted, then yes - send them in. NursingCAS will need your transcripts.

I was told that TWU didn't need the transcripts sent to them. I'm not sure about those who haven't been admitted to TWU already, but if you are already a student there, CAS should be the only place you send them. Sorry if I confused anyone:/

Hey I moved from Florida too 2 years ago and had some classes from MDC request for a transcript and then get on the phone with an adviser from twu so they can evaluate the courses and tell you the ones that work for them . Good luck !!

Thanks! I actually went to MDC too! Yeah, I need to make an appointment with an adviser to find out what the equivalences are here and take them over the summer if I end up getting accepted to TWU!

How do we know when we are accepted or not? I know we won't know for a couple more months, but my Pioneer Portal says Accepted next to Nursing 16FALL? Is that just in reference to being accepted to TWU? I never really noticed what it said before until now

My acceptance to TWU says "accepted" next to "NURSENTRY.BS." My webadvisor doesn't have anything for the upper division nursing program yet.
