Texas Women University FALL 2016

Anyone applying to Texas Women University? I recently attended an information session and spoke to Ms.Victoria the nursing coordinator for TWU. What are your stats? What advice to you give when studying for the TEAS? I know you have to apply for TWU first then get accepted. Then you apply to TWU NURSING. But I am somewhat confused on that process. I went to the apply portal and it does not give me the option to apply for FAll of 2016. I may have to wait. Any current TWU students that can give me any advice on the application process. I'm applying for the Houston campus. Does anyone know how many people apply on average each semester vs how many people the campus can accept?

I believe it is around 140 students per campus per semester. I believe I read in one of the emails sent out over the past few months that there were 550 applicants total, however that was for both Dallas and Houston. Keep in mind these are just estimates from what I have heard in the past.

do you think i have a chance of getting into the dallas campus??????

I can't see why not! While the Dallas campus is more competitive that the Houston campus, you have incredibly great scores. I don't think you will have a problem with admissions. We all should know in 6 weeks or so.

My transcript also didn't make it by the deadline but received an e-mail it was "received" today hope I am still in the running, (went ahead and sent mines without the attachment sheet).

I'm in the same situation. One of my transcripts has yet to be received, but from what I have read from advisor emails sent to all us nursing applicants, our applications should still go through. However, applications under "received" status will be processed last - after verified and completed ones.

Science GPA: 4.0

Nursing GPA (7 core classes): 4.0

Prerequisite GPA: 3.9

TEAS V: 81%

*No TWU bump

My transcripts were just "received" yesterday! However, I think I posted on this a little while back, TWU sent out an e mail saying as long as we sent our stuff by the deadline we are fine. I sent my stuff mid January and I have the confirmation e mails to prove it if need be.
