Texas Tech Accelerated 2nd Degree Program 2022

Published

It’s probably too early to start this thread.. but is anyone planning on applying to TTU’s ABSN program for 2022?

Is anyone in the San Antonio Cohort or applying for Spring 2022?

I am applying for Spring 2022, Austin and SA. When is your interview? Mine is scheduled for next week.

My interview is next week too! Maybe we will be students together ? is San antonio your first pick?

There are two ways to create a special area for your cohort, that are Terms-of-Service approved.

One is to create a facebook page.  This link is allowed to be posted.

The other is to create a "Club" within the site, by clicking on the Breakroom link (upper left-hand corner, in the yellow bar) and in the green area, click Start a Breakroom Club.

Any other references or links posted are not TOS-approved, and will be removed.

We wish you success In your Nursing program

@Futrn94 and @allipalmer could you tell me the book (and workbook if applicable) you guys use for the chronic care course? And so far, which classes do you find the most challenging? Thank you for your help. Hope to hear from you soon.

@DCV here’s the entire booklist! Ignore the prices. You can get them a lot cheaper than they list. Personally, I bought all of my textbooks from someone in the cohort before me and I plan on selling mine to an incoming Austin student as well! Whenever a 2022 accepted students facebook group is started, y’all be sure to post the link here so current students can join and answer questions, facilitate selling stuff, etc!

As far as most challenging course, I’d say either pharmacology 2 or chronic care. I actually loved pharmacology but it took me a good while to figure out the best way to study. Same for chronic care, plus just the sheer amount of information covered made it a challenge.

@allipalmer thank you for sharing this information! I would gladly buy the books from you! ?

@allipalmer would you happen to be done with your chronic care book?

@DCV it’s actually the same book for both chronic and acute care, which is a fall course (it runs the entire semester, until 12/8) so I’m still using it unfortunately

@allipalmer do you have any hard copy books? If you have both e-books and a hard copy book, which ones do you find more useful.

Also, has anyone heard anything from Tech?

Has anyone received an email from Texas tech or have any information on when they’ll send out emails for acceptance or rejection?

anticipation is killing me. ?

I have all hard copies! I do also have pdf versions but I exclusively have used hard copies.
