It’s probably too early to start this thread.. but is anyone planning on applying to TTU’s ABSN program for 2022?

For all those applying for Spring 2022... I just realized something and its possibly the reason I haven't heard back yet... I didn't get my fingerprints or background check done yet! Has anyone else?? Oh lord. I can't believe I haven't gotten this done. I have completely forgotten to do it since the interview. Please let me know if you got it done OR if you haven't gotten it done but already heard back from Tech. Thank you! Hope to hear from you soon!

I assumed that the fingerprint thing would happen afterwards….I have mine, but they’ve not asked for it. Oh ***!

I was accepted and have not done my fingerprints!! I wouldn't freak out yet. Sept 22nd is the last day to accept/decline offer so after that you may hear about more acceptances

@BSN2022sgs thank you for getting back to me so quickly and congratulations! ?  have you gotten your immunization requirements submitted? 

I'm guessing the first round of acceptance went out (I clearly wasn't in that round) and after September 22nd, I will probably hear back if I'm accepted. Phew. OK well good luck to everyone.

Based on going down a rabbit hole with previous program applications boards, each site/cohort notifies at different times I think. 

On another note, for those that haven't heard back does your interview folder within the TT application system say awaiting? I did my background check so confused about that.

Mine still says awaiting too. But when you open it up, it is nothing but informational PDF files. I'm worried that I missed something. I have all my immunizations. I have my blue card from the BON. I did fingerprints and all that stuff when I was in the Intro to Nursing class at UTA earlier this year.

 

I applied for the Dallas area, if that helps. Has anyone from the Dallas area heard anything? I'm curious about where everyone who has received a response is located.

I also did my BL from the BON last Fall when I was trying for the UTA accelerated. Do we have to do it again, if you know. I thought we did since it's a different school.

I'm not sure if we will have to do that stuff again. I totally understand that the folks up there are suuuuuper busy, but they're really hard to get in touch with. They respond to emails within a few days, and I appreciate that, but I just have so many questions and I don't want to be "that guy" who constantly emails and calls. . ?

Hi! I was accepted to the Austin location, but all locations received the 1st round of acceptances this Friday and have until the 22nd to accept/decline as someone mentioned earlier, so more acceptances will likely go out after then. The interview folder saying "awaiting" is not important - some people's were changed and some weren't. Mine said "awaiting" last I checked before being accepted.

@NicoleO congratulations! Do you mind if I ask what your stats are? General GPA, science GPA? Do you have your CNA, BLS, and medical terminology completed? What is your medical experience? Are you a Tech alumni?
