  1. @Valgee713 whoa, you have tried for so long. I really hope you get in. ❤️
  2. I haven't gotten any updates. I'm in the Austin cohort. ?
  3. Does anyone known when the second pool of acceptances will be sent out?? I'm thinking it's this Friday.
  4. @NicoleO congratulations! Do you mind if I ask what your stats are? General GPA, science GPA? Do you have your CNA, BLS, and medical terminology completed? What is your medical experience? Are you a Tech alumni?
  5. @Alycia I'm in the Austin area. @BSN2022sgs since you were already accepted, could you tell us to which cohort?
  6. @BSN2022sgs thank you for getting back to me so quickly and congratulations! ? have you gotten your immunization requirements submitted? I'm guessing the first round of acceptance went out (I clearly wasn't in that round) and after September 22nd, I will probably hear back if I'm accepted. Phew. OK well good luck to everyone.
  7. For all those applying for Spring 2022... I just realized something and its possibly the reason I haven't heard back yet... I didn't get my fingerprints or background check done yet! Has anyone else?? Oh lord. I can't believe I haven't gotten this done. I have completely forgotten to do it since the interview. Please let me know if you got it done OR if you haven't gotten it done but already heard back from Tech. Thank you! Hope to hear from you soon!
  8. @BSN2022sgs this is so exciting! I haven't heard back yet. I have a GOOD feeling I'll get in because all of my ducks are in a row (ya know what I mean ?). But we'll see. I'll comment here as soon as I hear from Texas Tech. Congratulations to those who've gotten in so far, I'm excited for you!! Crossing my fingers for the rest of us ?.
  9. @BSN2022sgs were you notified of your acceptance already??? I'm still waiting to hear back.
  10. @allipalmerHi Alli (and anyone else enrolled in this program), hope I'm not bothering you and you can answer whenever you have time... I was looking over the degree plan for this program and noticed there isn't any real science based classes (besides pharmacology) such as physiology or pathophysiology. There isn't much science based courses during the program is there?? It's more nursing concepts and day to day situations. Correct? The reason I ask is because I would be overwhelmed if the exams were science based like Microbiology and pathophysiology. But it seems that isn't this. Please let me know. Thank you. I'm also nervous about this program because I do well in classes where there is an obvious review/outline to follow for exams but you don't get that with this program. However, I might still do well if it's more concepts and common sense than scientific. P.S. has anyone heard back at all from the program??? ? ? I want to hear baaaack.
  11. @allipalmer do you have any hard copy books? If you have both e-books and a hard copy book, which ones do you find more useful. Also, has anyone heard anything from Tech?
  12. @allipalmer thank you for sharing this information! I would gladly buy the books from you! ? @allipalmer would you happen to be done with your chronic care book?
  13. @Futrn94 and @allipalmer could you tell me the book (and workbook if applicable) you guys use for the chronic care course? And so far, which classes do you find the most challenging? Thank you for your help. Hope to hear from you soon.
  14. @KizzieKae I got an email about an interview as well!!! I’m soooo excited!
  15. @drewerin thank you for your input. It seems like a hard program but you guys keep saying it's doable. Can you tell me...how many hours do you put into this program a week? Is it 60 hours? More or less?
