TEAS EXAM

Published

Hello Everyone! My name is Kelli and I would like to introduce myself to the allnurses.com community! I am taking my TEAS exam on Jan. 28th and I need all of the advice I can get regarding the TEAS exam. I am taking the exam at Cal State and I need a score of 70 percent. How can I do this? I am worried because it has been about 10 years since I took a standardized exam. I am a straight "A" student with a 4.0 GPA. How have you all passed the TEAS and got into the school of your dreams? I am trying to get a BSN degree. I have been studying the ATI testing manual and I took the practice exam at ATI and scored an 80 percent. What else do you suggest I can do these final few days before the exam? What were your experiences with the TEAS exam? Thank you SOOOO much. This information you can share with me means the world to me.

PS-I am studying for the TEAS by myself. Nobody I know is taking it yet!:nurse:

tha OMG!!! THE mRNA coding question and the specific heat, can someone plz tell me the easiest way to find the code i didn't know the specific heat question, the minute/second question. i think i answered the probability question right... i should find out my score 2morrow and if i bombed on the math, i will purchase the ATI study manual. i had the scan-tron 3.0/4.0 version of the test.

DNA: ATCG

RNA: AUCG

A connects to T/U and C pairs to G

Need a little more information on what our looking for on specific heat all I know is: E = m*C*ΔT or as I remember it eekk the MCAT.

I just found out that my teas test is going to be version V and the test is next week. In December they told me which book to get which is the 3.0 book. I am nervous:eek: now that I am studying all the wrong things. I am using that book plus Mcgraws book. Does anyone know if there is a difference with the two versions.

Thank you

oh man... i feel bad for you version V is a lot tougher.... trust me...

Did anyone take TEAS 5? do we need to know about the rocks, clouds..etc

Someone actually said on another thread that the geology questions are still on the version V. That is the first time I've seen that so I don't know that every test has them but obviously those questions are still in the rotation, even if to a much lesser extent.
