  1. Not sure, I posted that, but again, I never received an email. I called and they rep, not an analyst told me that. I have a feeling they don't know what they are talking about. Sorry, do as you are supposed too. I would at least.
  2. PattyLMT do not worry. You are so right! Why send out such an important notification via email? Especially in the spam folder. They told me to call back in a week. But with all of the postings they said their documents were due back in a week. Probably too late for me. That sucks. Oh well. I am hoping for you and me both that we can get this scholarship. We deserve it. I am a strong nursing student who needs funds. HELP-but the good thing is there is a bunch of other scholarships out there for nurses. Good luck to you. Kelli
  3. That is what the second lady said to me. She said they were sending it out in "waves". Who knows? They both said it was a mistake-the first email that was sent out. This anticipation is killing me!
  4. I am on the phone on hold...I read the other posts and this other rep did not seem to want to help me. Maybe that was it. I appreciate this post so much. I would not know where to be without you all. KKR
  5. NO WORRIES! I just spoke with an agent at HRSA and he said the first email was not intended to go out by any means. It was a mistake. The second email is just a clarification email. Nothing worth hooting your horn about. I would not worry if I were you. I did not receive the first email, but did get the second. The email just stated that funding awards got pushed back a month until Aug. 23rd. Good luck to you all. KKR
  6. HELLO! I have been waiting so anxiously to post on this thread! I have been accepted to California State University's BSN PROGRAM starting this fall ! YEAH! I have worked so hard. I am one of only 14 selected from my school and only one of 22 accepted total! WOWIE! I must be really qualified to be in the program and all this hard work and dedication has really paid off! Keep up the good work all of you students, I am sure you all will acheive success in the end! GOOD LUCK! AND CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU ALL! KKR
  7. I applied to Cal State San Bernardino and will not hear anything until mid-July! YIKES! I will be on pins and needles waiting until then!
  8. Yeah, I have NO IDEA how many applied. We were given until the end of June to turn in Spring transcripts with final grades. I am such a nervous nelly. I keep telling myself that I will be fine either way, but I am still unsure. I have worked so hard, much like everyone else probably, but I have two little ones at home, I need my career to start ASAP! I have three years to go until I hit the finish line, here we all go! Good luck! thanks for the reply. No one seems to reply to my threads lately. So it is nice to hear some news. I pray for all of us!
  9. For fall 2010, I will not find out until July sometime But on a brighter note, I am so excited for all of you and I can hardly wait to find out for me and my two other girlfriends. Good luck to you all! Lots of love! PS-My school is only accepting 22 and they only accept once a year! YIKES. I am on pins and needles waiting for a response.
  10. I live in the southern cali and I attend a community college. I applied to Cal State for the nursing program and I will know if I am accepted in July 2010 for the fall 2010. I have all of my prereqs done, so I am hoping and praying I will get in. Good luck to you on your road to nursing. It will work out for you if that is what you want to do. Do what is in your heart. That is best.
  11. Hello everyone! I applied to Cal State for the BSN program for Fall 2010 and I will not hear until mid-July if I am accepted or not. They are waiting on our final transcripts which have to be in by the end of June. Please keep me in your prayers and send good thoughts my way because I really need this acceptance. I have two children, my husband is unemployed and my mom lives with me. So technically, I have to work and feed five mouths everyday. It is tough. I am a good person and I know I will be a great nurse. I finsihed all of my prerequisites with a 3.89 GPA overall. Cal State only accepts ONCE a year and they are only accepting 22 students! I am so worried, but I know I have to have faith to keep me from going CRAZY! LOL! Thanks for all of the posts and congratulations to you all! KKR
  12. I applied to Cal State and they let you have classes in progress as well. We will not hear anything for Fall 2010 acceptance to the BSN program until July. Good luck to you and me both!
  13. paco, i am still here in fact i have been just studying away i haven't had the time like i would like to have to post stuff on here, but anyway, there are only 3 people with an "A" in my class and i happen to be one of them!!! Good luck to you all!
  14. Paco, I can tell you do have a passion about being a good student. You will be a successful nurse no doubt about it! Keep up the good work~ladyoj69
  15. Paco, Yeah, a lot of people are doing poorly in my class too. I heard it is worse in AP 2 though, this semester, 1/2 of the class is failing with D's and F's. Sad to say, but it is the truth. There are only about 4 A's in my Micro class, and I nailed an A in AP 2 last semester. A lot of the people doing poorly are just not trying very hard. I know Micro is a very notoriously tough class, but you have to put in the time and effort to succeed. How are you ever going to be a nurse if you can't get the skills to pass a prereq class? I don't mean to bark or be mean, but I have put so much time and effort in my classes and school, I only deserve the best. I wish everyone the best of luck, but luck has only a little part in our big journey to be nurses. Love, Kelli
