  1. For the cranial nerves our mnemonic in class was O O O TO TOUCH AND FEEL A GIRLS VALENTINE SIMPLY HEAVAN
  2. Congrats!!! I received my acceptance letter a week ago. It feels so much better to finally find out and not have to wait any more. Good luck!
  3. I finished my prereqs and the deadline was the end of march. We will find out my mid-june about getting in. I am done with school right now so I am just staying busy with my kids and loving every minute of it. It is kind of relaxing not doing any school but I am scared and exited for the day to come when I get a letter in the mail. My grades are good but my teas score was just average so I do not know for sure if I am getting in. That kills me!! I have though been doing Zumba to relieve stress and it is working.
  4. I took version V yesterday and thought I was well prepared. And that turned out to be crap!! I ended up getting a 68% Individual Total Score. I was suprised because I went in there with a 4.0 plus I have been going over the book since December. The book I studied though was 3.0 because that was the book that they had for us at the book store. Anyways I did well in Reading and Math but I struggled in Science and English (like sentence structures). I am going to talk to my nurse advisor but I think that everyone around me was pretty much average with me. There was alot of chemistry and physics on my test which I did not really study for. My school said they know that we have not taken those courses so they focus more on math and reading. Well I hope that is true for my score. It ended up being a crappy day anyways I had to switch to 3 computers because they were not working and then the girl next to me was on pain medicine for surgery she had a couple days ago and she had to have a garbage bag next to her to throwup. It was hard to concentrate when she would get sick plus the smell got to me.
  5. I am taking the teas test this Saturday and we wont find out if we get into the nursing program until the 2nd week of June. This semester is going by so slow. I am so nervous about the test . I have been studying since December and I took the online practice test earlier today and got a 60%. I hope the real thing is easier than the practice tests. So hopefully I will be added on into the fall program. They only take 32 people and there is usually 150 that apply every year.
  6. I was going to purchase the online teas v practice test but it asks for our school name and student id. Why does it ask that? Are they going to send it to our nursing department? Thanks guys I dont want to buy it and do bad and then they email my nursing advisor my score.
  7. I have been studying version 3.0 and they just told me that we are taking version V. Do you guys think that they are similar and that I will be fine? I tried to order the new Ati practice test online but my school is not listed there to get it. I am really nervous that I am studying the wrong things. I also am using the Mcgraw hill book.
  8. I just found out I am taking the version v and I have been studying for 3.0. That was the book they gave me, how was the reading and language section? I have one more week and now I am freaking out. Any tips will help please.
  9. I just found out that my teas test is going to be version V and the test is next week. In December they told me which book to get which is the 3.0 book. I am nervous:eek: now that I am studying all the wrong things. I am using that book plus Mcgraws book. Does anyone know if there is a difference with the two versions. Thank you
  10. Wow! You guys have all done great on your scores. I am taking the test at the end of this month on the 28th. I am way nervous, because I just get this one shot and if I mess it up I have to take it next year. I am studing the McGraw hill I downloaded and the Teas book that was recommended. I just wish I had more time to spend on it. I am taking 3 classes right now and they are kicking my butt. I just cant wait to get this month over.
  11. Hi everyone I am taking the teas test in March and I am really nervous. I was wondering how many questions are on the teas test. We have a 3 hour time frame. Is it going to take that long? I am studying the math on ATI now, but now I am nervous with everyone talking about the science part. Should I not even bother looking over the science part in the book and find it elsewhere? Thanks for the help. I like reading these threads it is helping. I am just nervous as well to start school and study for the teas test plus spending time with my kids. I just hope I dont end up going crazy. Haha P.S. If anyone is taking the test in the next couple months and wants to review with me. That would be awesome.
