I review and study 1 chapter a day too since I have work and I quit my job when I started to read about the med surg part and still 1 chapter a day. It took me a whole 2 months just to get it done. I do questions too after I'm done with the whole chapter. It's like using step 1 and step 2 of suzanne's plan altogether just to save time.

i have a 2yrs and a 2mths old .i am only able to read 1 chp a day becos they are very demanding pls i need an advice what to do or i shuold just continue to take my time
I am not moving as quickly as I want to either, it's hard with the kids. But the important thing is that you learn the content so that you know the info when you sit down to take your exam. I have taken this thing twice. It's definately not easy, so I will do whatever it takes, as long as it takes me to make sure I pass this time. Keep your chin up, knowing the content is the most important thing. Good luck!!:icon_hug:
Dont worry you can do it!! Maybe try getting a sitter for three hours a day or try doing a chapter when the kids get to bed. This plan really does work and it is worth it.
like Suzanne said you will need to have at least 3 hours a day because the second part can be just as time consuming as the first part but you can get through it. Forget about how long it is taking just make sure the info sticks in your head when you are doing it
Enjoy your child and do what you can when you can do it. When it's time to do 100 questions per day, you may need to break that up. As a parent, your child comes 1st and you also have to take care of yourself. Doing 1 chapter every day is good. Your climbing a mountain and its best to take as much time as you need and understand the content. If you can retain it, your good to go. I think I'm pushing way too hard because my scores have gone down instead of up. I decided to ask for advice from other posters (different thread) and back off a bit. I think I'm getting too stressed out. Good luck.
I hate to use the tv as a babysitter but sometimes drastic times call for drastic measures. I'd try a video for the 2 year old and a swing for the 2 month old. Now, hopefully your baby likes the swing. My oldest loved it and would swing for hours but my youngest detested the thing. You can also study during naps, get up a bit before the kids get up, and stay up after they go to bed. Also, call in as many of your babysitting favors as you can. lol
PS What did you do to study when you were in nursing school? Somehow you managed to get thru school so try doing what worked then.
