I looked around hoping to find a thread but only found previous years. I applied early September for the program and have seen been playing the waiting game. I'd like to hear from others who applied, maybe I can help answer some questions and we can all offer each other support.
Same here! @DreamCatcher215 and @Gabmattera32. Are you guys applying to any other schools? I sent applications to Columbia, College of New Rochelle, and Fairfield University and my interview at Fairfield is actually tomorrow. Concordia, NYU, and Pace are also on my list of schools but I'm still working on those applications.
I had thought about applying to Mt. St. Vincent but I really don't want to take Organic Chemistry so it's just not worth it for me. Also, so far, my impression of Pace isn't the greatest. I feel their entire applications process is so disorganized which sometimes makes me feel that being a student there would be chaotic

I thought the same thing too. I really don't want to take Organic Chemistry, but several nursing programs require it, and I feel I don't have many other options.
As far as Pace, I listed that one last because I've also heard not-so-great things about the program. The same can be said about SUNY Downstate. NYU is also an option, but just so expensive.
I spoke with one of the administrators at Stony. They're still considering applicants. She advised that all final decisions will be sent by December. Do not be discouraged but do apply to other schools. I interviewed at Pace and the process was organized. I got waitlisted to Pace but got into Farmingdale. I'm still waiting to hear back from other schools including Stony.
Lehman is extremely competitive but worth trying for. Best foot forward is to apply early. I wish you all good luck and sending you positive vibes! It isn't over until the rejection or acceptance letter comes in the mail.
Hello! I'm a perspective applicant (looking to apply next year) for the ABSN program at Stony. I currently work at a major financial institution looking to make a career change.
I have all A's in my pre-reqs except microbio (still waiting to take next semester) but I have an overall GPA of 3.1. Is there anyone who has similar stats that received an interview?

I felt the same way @Gabmattera32. I kept thinking there a was chance for me too. But, let's keep trying. There are other programs that are just as good. Goal here is to become amazing nurses! I believe we'll make it! :)
