SUNY-Stony Brook ABSN Class of 2020

I looked around hoping to find a thread but only found previous years. I applied early September for the program and have seen been playing the waiting game. I'd like to hear from others who applied, maybe I can help answer some questions and we can all offer each other support.

I got accepted and i am so excited!! For those of you who didn't get accepted, I have been in your shoes.. don't give up!

Last year I applied for both the 1 year and 2 year program. I never got an interview for the 1 year and got denied. I got an interview for the 2 year and then got denied :( It SUCKED. I knew i wanted Stonybrook so i applied again this year to both programs. My application was exactly the same as last year. I got an interview for the 1 year and got accepted! Sometimes I feel like its all about timing !

I got accepted, but decided to decline the offer in favor of SUNY Brockport. It made more sense financially for me. Hopefully someone from the waitlist was notified :) Good luck to everyone starting and to those still hoping to find a spot!

Hi Guys my name is Jill ! I was accepted into the ABSN program starting this summer and have decided to attend ! I will be looking for housing closer to the school and am potentially looking for a roommate within the program. I think that would be best because we will both have the same sort of schedule, priorities , needs etc. If anyone is in the same position and in need of a roommate please contact me. Also, feedback and suggestions regarding resources for apartments / finding roommates / forums are appreciated ! Good luck to everyone on their endeavors.
