Hello Everyone.

I was just wondering if anyone out there applied for the 2018-2019 program at downstate? Hoping we can all loop each other in on the status.

Hey all! I just got my acceptance. I managed to find the FB group (idk if I can put the link here but I will try) the group is called "SUNY Downstate Accelerated BSN 2018-2019"

It was exactly 1 week I got my acceptance letter from when I did my interview! Good luck!

Congrats fellow/future downstate students! We should be getting our aide packages soon. I filed FAFSA/federal but not NYS yet.

Hi everyone! This may be a silly question but did everyone dress very interview ready for the interview? You know like blazers, dress pants, blouses, etc. Haha thanks for any input!

I wore a fitted business appropriate dress and heels, and brought a blazer but didn't wear it. The guy in my group wore a shirt and tie but not jacket. It was snowing and gross the day of my interview, so I don't think the other women in my interview group wore heels, I think they went black pants and blouses. You can always bring the blazer, and take it off. Better to be over dressed than under.

Exactly one week later! (Although Dr. Carr was telling us it may or may not take longer, depending on how quickly admissions gets back to us and all)

I agree with Kate. Everyone was pretty well dressed and professional. You definitely don't need to go overboard since it's a pretty laid back experience, but it's always better to be overdressed than to risk looking like you don't care

Hi All!

I just received my acceptance letter and I am so excited. I attempted to accept the offer, but when I click on the link it says, "The deadline to for enrollment submission has passed. Please contact our office for more information." Did anyone else have this issue?
