  1. I wore a fitted business appropriate dress and heels, and brought a blazer but didn't wear it. The guy in my group wore a shirt and tie but not jacket. It was snowing and gross the day of my interview, so I don't think the other women in my interview group wore heels, I think they went black pants and blouses. You can always bring the blazer, and take it off. Better to be over dressed than under.
  2. I interviewed on Dec 14th, I was told I would hear back this week, and I heard back on December 21st. I think they don't want a bunch of people call to follow up. And I already posted about my interview experience.
  3. I believe someone already started a group, it was listed earlier. Did you try searching for it? Also, I was accepted into SUNY Downstate, so I'm withdrawing my application today. Hopefully it will leave a spot open for someone! Best of luck everyone!
  4. This is what mine was up until they accepted me, even after the interview.
  5. Someone in my group was asked what type of cookie they are, but I think those sort of questions are just to assess how well you can think on your feet. Take a deep breath, think of the positive qualities about yourself you want to highlight, and think of an answer that reflects that. So as far as a cookie goes, they really don't care what cookie you are, they care about how you came to the answer. So "I'm a snickerdoodle, because I'm sweet like a sugar cookie, but I have spice and more flavor. I'm reliable, consistent, and I'm good with kids". Not saying that should be your answer. That's for any of "what vegatable/song/movie are you?" type questions. Pick the quality you want to highlight and work backwards. And if you need a minute to think, take a deep breath, think, then answer. It won't be as long as it feels to you. Someone was also asked their feelings on euthanasia. I don't know how I would answer that. It's hard to say what questions you might get considering there are 70 of them. Go in knowing what qualities you want to highlight, have examples that show you exhibiting those qualities, know what previous experiences you have that make you a strong candidate, and know that everyone going in is just as nervous as you are. I found it helpful to talk to the other people interviewing while we waited, so it felt more like we were going in as a team instead of as rivals for the same spot. I'm really hoping they got in as well, they were super nice! Best of luck with your interview!
  6. To me, the interview questions were all what I would expect. Everyone was asked their own questions, so while it's a group interview it functioned more as a one on one. I follow the STAR interview method, it works well for me. Good luck!
  7. Absolutely, I was thinking this myself. I will direct message you my name.
  8. Dr Carr said they were interviewing competitive applicants, and that they would be interviewed in the order in which they applied.
  9. I was accepted last night as well! So excited, I already emailed in my acceptance. I am 100% going.
  10. Hey, anyone interview yet?
  11. Hey, how was your interview? Any out of the ordinary questions?
  12. Good luck! Let us know how it goes!
  13. My application is 100% complete, so maybe that is the case.
  14. For those of you who have scheduled interviews, when are you going?
  15. I will have to live off campus, I'm bringing my dog up with me. But the apartments seem really affordable, especially coming from NYC.
