Hello Everyone,
I am preparing myself to apply for Summer 2018 pacesetter BSN program. We can use this forum for Summer 2018 applicants. I am in the process of taking Hesi exam. I have completed all my prerequisite courses needed for the program.
Little bit about me:
BS in Microbiology in 2005 -GPA (3.05)
MPH degree in Epidemiology in 2012-GPA (3.85)
Associate degree of Science in 2017-GPA (4.0)
Hesi test-will be taking it in August
Working full time with City Health department as an epidemiologist specialist since last five years. I am also a mom of two boys.
Got accepted to MUSC college of nursing program but declined it. Also got accepted to Johns Hopkins Entry into Masters of nursing program for Fall 2017 but had to deffer it to Fall 2018 due to financial circumstances.
Trying to apply for the in-state school due to affordable tuition as well as easy commute.
I really hope i can get into UT Health Science center pacesetter program as it's my first option as it's closest to me as well as it's affordable and one of the best programs in Texas.
I need some help please.
Could I submit my application for Fall? and we take the re take the Hesi after the deadline ? I submitted an application for summer so they have my transcript and first hesi score?
And does anyone have advice to improve I got an 86 @victoriadukes what did you do to improve your score?

I did the same thing, when you reapply submit your new scores with your testing ID number and they get the most recent ones.
You are exactly right when you say Gods timing. I will share a story with yall so you can see, when God has a plan for your life, it will come to pass if you trust Him: Shortly after starting LVN school, I found I was pregnant. I already had a baby and a toddler so needless to say, I was shocked, lol. LVN school is a rigorous, year long, full time program. Along with being preggers, having 2 little ones, and attending school full time, I also worked full time (insane!). I will tell you if not for the Lord, my instructors, and family, I wouldn't have made it. If you are not aware, you are only allowed to miss 3 days per semester in LVN school. I delivered her via C-section on a Friday and was back in class/clinicals, that following Tuesday, but GOD. That was in June, I graduated that August with my class. My grades weren't great, I averaged B's, but I made it. So many class mates quit and failed, that had no where near as much going on. When there is a Will , there is a way. I say this, so you can know if the Lord puts a dream or goal in your heart, it will come to pass, don't be discouraged by a denial or an obstacle. My plan was to always transition from LVN-ADN, but again, God's plan can always be different. I was accepted into 2 LVN-ADN programs about 5 yrs ago. I couldn't change my hours at work in enough time to start, so I had to decline. I was devastated, so I took a break for a while, then finished pre-reqs for BSN, and here I am now. I'm not sure if this will help anyone, but I felt compelled to share it. Praying for yall

I applied the day before the application was due and I got accepted (stats above, you can see they weren't the best), so I don't think this applies to it! However I did apply later because of the date I was taking my HESI last summer for the spring application fell 4 days before application was due and got denied. I don't think it correlates though
