Hi Lori,
I'm not taking any summer classes, but just finished Human Life-Span online. It was an accelerated course (6 weeks) and went by fast, but I enjoyed it.
Just wanted to wish you luck! I'll be spending the summer viewing math and A&P before I start the program this fall.
Enjoy your course,
Michelle
started with business policy and strategy 2 weeks ago - i am finishing my bs in finance. i'm glad that i will be focusing on that class solely for the first few weeks, as it is pretty tough. i start the rest - microbiology online, a&p i and ii online, organizational communication on-campus and management info systems on-campus - on june 7th.
it is going to be a tough summer but i am up to the challenge! :chuckle

I started my Med/Surg and Peds 2 weeks ago. Third week starts tomorrow. 100 minute seminar presentation is due Tuesday afternoon. It is to be on an acute care illness. My goup (of 3, well, maybe you can say 2 since one student seems to want us carrying her :uhoh21: ) wanted to get it over with so we're the first presenters. I'm glad, but stressed trying to get my power points in order etc. I also have quite a hefty surgical and endocopy assignment due Thursday.
Hey! Good luck on your classes everyone! Only 11 weeks to go until the semester is finished then I have about a month off.
Summer I classes begin for me in 2 weeks. I'm taking water aerobics and weight training through the month of June (yes, 2 P.E. classes are required for my B.S.).
Summer II starts July 7th and that's when my first nursing courses begin - including basic nursing skills, introduction to nursing, and informatics. Those last through the month of July. :)
Oh, and I'll be leaving my job in June, too... big, exciting summer here! :)

Manna's gonna be a buff nurse!! Good for you!! I wish my program required that - it would make me get off my duff if it was for credit (which I should be doing it anyway with my Type 1 diabetes, but I'm too darn busy studying! LOL)

Hi all! Well, summer school starts tommorow. Today is a nice sunny 75 degree day here in Indy, so I think I am off for an enjoyable bike ride, then maybe play in the park with my daughter :) Tonight after dinner, I will finish up organizing my desk for this summer session. I am doing 2 classes, both are internet classes, so I have more freedom this summer than I would sitting in the classrom. I will be taking Lifespan Psych and Medical Law and Ethics. Lots of reading and 2 papers to write, so I see my late nights in front of the pc! (Well, I am sure I will be checking in on allnurses when I should be studying :chuckle
What's everyone else doing in summer session? When are you starting? How do you all feel about summer classes?
