What location did you interview at? I don’t interview until March

Specializes in Intermediate Care Unit.

Did they require you to sign a 2 year commitment? If yes, what are the consequences for breaking the contract? How much will you be paying back the hospital?

No contracts at Piedmont.

Specializes in Medical ICU.

Has anyone who applied to Piedmont Atlanta who is interested in Critical Care heard anything or interviewed yet? Since my phone interview it's been extremely silent. I was told that my information would be passed along and I'd get a call back very soon...it's been weeks. Just trying to adequately prepare myself in the event that this doesn't pan out. I was told by an alumni of my University that she was told the same thing and when they finally followed up with her they said they filled the position. Hoping to hear something soon as I did my phone interview at the beginning of the month and the month is practically over.

During my phone interview they said they don't have contracts but they ask for a minimum of 1 year commitment from you.

I just did my phone interview today for Piedmont Atlanta. My top choice is critical care, but I also told the recruiter I am interested in NICU as a second choice and cardiac as a third choice. She told me not to expect to hear from her for about 2 weeks. I'm a little behind the game since I just applied at the end of last week but still hoping to be brought in for an interview. Maybe you should reach out to the recruiter you spoke with. I was told to contact them if I hadn't heard anything after a few weeks.

Hmmmm, I've emailed and called the recruiter and still nothing. Just getting pretty anxious at this point since I've heard from my peers that they've already interviewed at Piedmont Atlanta but in different specialities. Piedmont is my top choice but I don't want to hold out/wait for them and nothing come of it. This week will be 3 weeks since my phone interview.
