  1. Some hospitals here are more picky about hiring BSNs vs ASNs. Among the pickier ones are Children's and Emory because they are going for the Magnet status. From my understanding, all graduates of nursing programs whether it be ASN or BSN can apply for residency programs here. But you'll see in job applications that BSN is preferred. All the hospitals you listed above are reputable here. Piedmont is the cardiac centered one. In fact, they just finished construction on an entire building dedicated to cardiac patients. I may be mistaken but I think they opened it earlier than expected to care for patients with COVID. Northside is the "baby factory". Huge postpartum center, L&D, and large NICU. Piedmont and Northside are also great hospitals all around for other departments. I hear good things from current employees there. Wellstar Kennestone recently opened one of the largest EDs in the country. Grady is the trauma center. I'm sure you will see everything in their ED as well. Even if BSN is preferred, submit your application, have good references, WOW! the interviewers with your soft skills. And practice interview questions! When I started going to interviews for residency programs, I was amazed how much of the hiring decision really depends on whether or not you are approachable/likable as a person. Also CONGRATS to you and your boyfriend!!
  2. Hi everybody. I'm also from GA and was wondering if anyone knows how long the wait times are to sit for the NCLEX. Some people I spoke to said June is taken up. I'm worried there aren't going to be many spots available in the next two or three months. Is anyone driving really far to get a test spot?
  3. @as15bk I’ll dm you
  4. @Emr2 Gotcha. I applied for MB so I thought maybe they’re waiting to roll those decisions out. I’m sure they’ll get to us soon! Fingers crossed for today ?
  5. @Emr2 are you MB or L&D?
  6. Yeah under log into profile then on the applications Link
  7. @bailey1015 Offer pending for me as well. Same situation you described
  8. @minniemoo22 I’m sorry to hear that. It was an intimidating process for sure lots more people interviewed than expected.
  9. @mnolasco dang I’m sorry to hear that ? It was extremely stressful and intimidating. Plus I heard interviews ran an hour and a half over the expected time slots
  10. Unrelated but I know a lot of people are on this forum...has anyone heard back from Northside ATL women’s hiring event that took place this past Wednesday?
  11. Has anyone heard back from Northside women’s services?
  12. Yeah I don’t feel told good about it either at this point. Also external. I think if you specified critical care as your major areas of interest the chances are lower that they get back to you since so many people want those units. Just what I’m assuming
  13. MB midtown wbu? And MB Northside. Yes I really hate the waiting. Whatever happens though I am grateful for the fact that I have options in a unit I really wanted. I hope we start to hear something tomorrow because they did say 2-5 business days
  14. @MyaRN2020 do we live the same life ?
