I thought I wanted to be an ICU nurse, until I started working at one. I ended up quitting after 2 months. I currently have an offer to work on an intermediate care unit for a community hospital. I did not put the ICU experience on my resume. What would be the possible consequences of this action?

How recent is "recent" in California RN job postings (not sure if I worded that correctly)? It might take a while for me to get my license(hopefully no more than a year), and I need to move back for personal reasons? I've got one year of acute care experience, btw. Thanks for the answers!

@lsaxena Are you foreign graduate nurse? I was thinking of endorsing my NC license to WA, but I'm a foreign graduate nurse. I was wondering if that will affect the time range?

Did they require you to sign a 2 year commitment? If yes, what are the consequences for breaking the contract? How much will you be paying back the hospital?

Any information regarding the culture of the hospitals in the mentioned area? How's the nurse-patient ratio? Shift differentials? I've got one year of Med-Tele experience, how likely will I be able to go to another specialty? Thanks!

@professorcait, @inthecosmos, & @CalishortyRN Recently quit my job due to unsafe patient ratio & workload; before moving back to my home state, I was thinking of trying to apply to other hospitals in NC; how is the culture at Novant, & Atrium? Nurse-patient ratio? Shift differentials? I know Novant's base rate is $27/hour? How about Atrium? Foreign graduate here, how does using CGFNS to send your credentials to BON work? If I do that, I do not need to contact my university or?
