OK, since enrollment for Summer 2012 is close to starting, I figured I'd get the ball rolling for those of us who are taking courses this summer.

What courses are you taking? Is this your first time taking the class? When will you apply for nursing school?

Summer 2012Anatomy & Physiology II ; Mon thru Thur 2:00 pm --- 5:50 pm >Pharmacoly 10 ; Mon thru Thurs 9:00 am --- 11:50 am >Almost Done with my prerequisite courses,, But too be honest no matter how fast I try to get into the program CUNY it's making it way too hard too much running around with these prerequisite!!! But in the fall got 3 more classes and HOPEFULLY I'll actually start the program in the Spring 2013

Wow! There's a lot of people taking a lot of classes this Summer. Originally I planned on taking Chemisty over the Summer, but it turns out my high school biology does not count for my bio pre-req so now I am taking Bio 181 over the Summer to take A & P, Chem, and Math in the Fall. I will then be done with all of my pre-reqs and can apply in December!

A average so far in my quiz grade in A and P 1. That is until I take my quiz on the Chemistry section tomorrow. O.o

i am taking PHARM 1 this summer.....at my school they have broken down pharm into 1 credtit course for your 4 semesters...my plan is to take 1 this summer....2 during winter break and so on for next year...i am enrolled for fall.....the less i have the better!!

Hello All:

I enrolled for the summer into ekg and phlebotomy courses. Finished up studies and received my license in January 2012 for CNA.

Can you start your application for UTHSC and save it? Or do you have to submit it the day you start it? Also if I am getting a transcript mailed how does that work? How will that show on my application? I still have a couple more classes left to complete. Is it worth waiting or having at least one transcript transferred (AA degree) over while I finish my pre req. classes out?

Med surg lab and clinicals, Intro to Med Surg, Trans-cultural nursing, Medication math, Rn success strategies, Intro nursing processes, and Intro to pharmacology. This is all for my first semester.

And 4 semesters shoved into 14 months!

Right now I have 170 pages of reading before class starts on Tuesday!

I start next week!!! This is my first semester and hoping to start nursing school Fall 2013. I am taking Algebra, Comp 1, Psychology, and comparative cultures.

I am just taking one Math class, College Algebra for the first summer session. Since Math is my worst subject, I am going to keep this one by itself. If I like the pace, I will take Statistics next, if not I am going to take US History II, Goverment I and Human Development.

I have to go buy my Phlebotomy kit & lab coat on Wednesday. I'll be interested to see what's in the kit. From what I can see in the book, this looks like it's going to be a fun class :)
