ugh, i am working on some major poundage and am looking for other nursing students who understand the concept of STRESS eating! -----------------------------------
anywho, i am on weight watchers and have lost over 40 pounds--with more to go. any takers? we can keep track of each other. i have three semesters left and my 34th birthday in in october--i want to lose about 20 pounds before my b-day and i want to look good in my whites at pinning! :)
how'd ya do? i was down a half a pound--but it is tom so i was bloated. looks like maybe i'll have a really good wi this week if the water comes off-:)i have also been hiking and walking a lot with my kids lately. i need to get back in the gym but want to be outside right now...

even though it causes bloating; tom, it still does burn some calories like about 500 is what i've been told, not enough to counter-act the chocolate cravings ect...
so i guess when aunt flo doesn't come visiting any more then what? those 500 calories start to accumulate like un-used sick leave right? ::smackingf

cool, that is something i have never heard! i'll have to remeber that next month...

:trout: i always wondered what it meant also, i don't know maybe fish stink when you poke it someones face lol? or maybe spoiled rotten like a fish lol good question...well i have never been a member of ww but i am seriously considering joining b/c i don't seem to be getting any better on my own, and i am always hungry! i try to make good choices like salads w/no extra fatting stuff on it lean meat, vinaigrette dressing, extra glasses of h2o but i still haven't started the exercise/work-out so i am at a stand-still
Ok well I never post on here but I'd thought I'd join. I am doing LA Weightloss and I've been on the program since Feb and I've lost 55 pounds so far. I've got another 45 to get to my target but I feel so great already, I'm excited! I'm really nervous about starting clinicals next year, I hope I don't gain the weight back! I've got to eat every 3-4 hours so I hope I'll be able to!
LA is a great program and I suggest it to anyone who wants to lose weight!:)
I'm definitely making slow progress. Kids are now out of school, so more stuff going on during the day, which keeps me out of the kitchen so much. Weigh in is on Friday. I cheated and looked at the scale yesterday, and if I can maintain, will post a 4 lb. loss this week! Yay! Kicked the soda habit, back to the water and diet-decaffinated iced tea (on WW counts as water) and have been better about exercising. Hope I can stay OP this time! Great job to all those working hard to change their eating and exercise habits. It's good to know I'm not alone in this. Have a great week everyone!
Well I decided not to do WW after all. I went on a 1200 calorie diet, (not cutting out any food groups) with 30 grams of fat or less. I have been walking and drinking 3 liters of water each day. I've lost 9 pounds in 5 days. Mainly due to the water and I only allow myself 12 ounces of Dr Pepper a day. Before I was drinking 2 to 3 liters of it everyday, and it wasn't diet. I'm allergic to aspartame.

I've heard of LA weightloss but don't know anything about them. What can you tell me about them? Are they expensive?
I've been running everyday so far this week. At first I was dying after 10 minutes, now I feel a lot better. My hubby is here for 3 weeks and he's in really good shape (all that running in the desert), so he's been helping me. We're going out later on tonight running around the neighborhood. Friday is our 5yr wedding anniversary......so I plan on doing some other physical activities on that day:monkeydance:

I actually lost a pound that is the least I have lost so far!! But who's complaining its a loss right!!! This week is totally another story. I justs cant get motivated and my hubby has totally been the anti weight loss monster this week. Hey lets go to the ballgame and while were here lets eat some nachos and hey lets go out to eat again and again and again!!! [EVIL][/EVIL] I never tend to lose weight when I eat out!! Help everyone I really need to get back on the wagon and lost next week!!! Any advice?? Oh yeah I am on week 6 and have lost 12.2 lbs which sucks because I lost two of those weeks to cheating!!!

you should give WW a try--I really like it and it is the only program I can stick with so I'll be sticking around...you can check out my profile for my website and see my progress w/ the whole thing! I am kind of pathetic and it has taken me along time to lose.
congrats bbusymom on your loss...i know i lose more when i dont eat out also? it is wierd...

kdavisnh, dont you hate that when you go down a big chunk then bloat up right before WI? i am trying to watch the sodium so that doesnt happen this week. good luck at WI!

well, my WI is tomorrow and I was down the last 4 days then popped up .5 this morning on my scale for no good reason!!! aggggg, i feel like my body is fighting me. so, i am going to go work out and see if that helps. i hate exercise *sigh* which is part of what got me here!
