ugh, i am working on some major poundage and am looking for other nursing students who understand the concept of STRESS eating! -----------------------------------
anywho, i am on weight watchers and have lost over 40 pounds--with more to go. any takers? we can keep track of each other. i have three semesters left and my 34th birthday in in october--i want to lose about 20 pounds before my b-day and i want to look good in my whites at pinning! :)
hey daye--lol on the fish thing! maybe we'' find out what :trout: means at some point??you should give ww a try--i really like it and it is the only program i can stick with so i'll be sticking around...you can check out my profile for my website and see my progress w/ the whole thing! i am kind of pathetic and it has taken me along time to lose.
congrats bbusymom on your loss...i know i lose more when i don't eat out also? it is wierd...
happy anniv. nursecadet!:balloons: great job running--i gotta do some of that!
kdavisnh, don't you hate that when you go down a big chunk then bloat up right before wi? i am trying to watch the sodium so that doesn't happen this week. good luck at wi!
wannabe07, congrats on your weight loss-that is awesome--keep up the good work!!!!
well, my wi is tomorrow and i was down the last 4 days then popped up .5 this morning on my scale for no good reason!!! aggggg, i feel like my body is fighting me. so, i am going to go work out and see if that helps. i hate exercise *sigh* which is part of what got me here!
bye all! :)
congrats to all you losers!!! way to go!!! i have you to cheer for!!!
#4 is very, very good in the right direction amy!
kdavisnh, bbusymom, wannabe07 y'all are going in the right direction...keep going!
me on the other hand no loss-no gain still in at 158.5 ahhhhh it is my own fault though, i am eating much better but i am not exercising at all so i can't even call it muscle weight. :monkeydance:
Well, weigh in was today, posted a 2 lb. loss, rather than the 4, but that's ok, it's still a loss. TOM is due, so am bloated, am sure that doesn't help. But I'm back on track with my eating, and that's the biggest thing.Even got some exercise (my arch enemy) in this week, running around with the kids, and even climbed a gorge with some family that I haven't seen in 5 years. Was impressed that I wasn't as out of breath as I figured I'd be!

Wtg on all who have posted losses this week (and those that haven't, keep at it, next week is another week) and for those just joining us, welcome!
I have a real struggle tomorrow, we're going away to a fire/rescue/ems conference, rotten food there (weight-wise) so will have to make smart choices. Have a great weekend everyone!
congrats on the two pound loss-that rocks!
thanks daye--WI is tomorrow am so wish me luck! you are doing great--the pounds WILL come off, just stick w/ it!
hows everyone doing this week so far? i am on program and feeling good...trying to remove some wallpaper in my house and it stinks! agggg!
have a good day everyone-drink your water!
thanks for the encouragement...and it may not be all that fun, removing wallpaper, but it is activity and that is good. i am studying for the nclex and heavy books, & concentration do not allow much activity at all but once i sit for the boards i will be back to a rigorous routine again! until then cheers for water!
Keep up the good work!!
I understand completly, I have been working very hard walking daily at lunch for an hour and beginning to see results. I really need to change my eating habits but very hard to do.
Work Full Time, Half Time Student and Mother of 2. Very demanding but the payoff in the end will be well worth it.

hey leslie;
you may already have this recipe, quick & easy treat
mix together a boxed angel food cake w/a can of crushed pineapple juice and all pour into a cake pan 10x10 or 9 x 13 whatever you have handy
bake at the temp on the box for however long it takes to be done.
warning do not attempt to put icing on this cake and do not serve w/ice cream lol j/k:uhoh3:
Hello all,
Count me in! I have 100 pounds to drop! I am completeing my pre-reqs. and elective classes before for I apply to the nursing program, and I plan on being 100 pounds down. I will rejoin Weight Watchers on Friday, June 28th, 2006. I will do the Flex plan, and try to workout 3 - 4 days a week. Would it be possible for the admin. to start a thread where we could meet and encourage each other?
