ugh, i am working on some major poundage and am looking for other nursing students who understand the concept of STRESS eating! -----------------------------------
anywho, i am on weight watchers and have lost over 40 pounds--with more to go. any takers? we can keep track of each other. i have three semesters left and my 34th birthday in in october--i want to lose about 20 pounds before my b-day and i want to look good in my whites at pinning! :)
Eating vegetables, just enough meat and regular exercise are great if you want to lose weight. I weighed 150lbs. after I had a baby and lost all my weight after 3 mos. just by doing all what I mentioned earlier. It takes discipline and good planning;) I now weigh 123lbs. :) :)

Darla checking in... down 1.8 lb, but that may be b/c period over rather than any excellent work on my part. I have been watching portions and asking myself, "Are you really hungry or eating for another reason?" I had a religion paper to write (pre-requisite for Regis Univ., a Jesuit institution) and often use food as an avoidance tactic. I substituted sex instead...:yelclap: My husband's taken to asking, "Want to engage in a little avoidance??"

well i made it through 10 days w/my precious grandbabies...i haven't lost any weight but thankfully i haven't gain any either yippee!
congratulations to all you losers out there and keep going!!!
btw what is core??? i went out and bought some organic fruits and veg and lean beef and poultry when i got home to get me on the right food track now if i can just work in some work out time while studying for my nclex test i will be in good!

well, i am up but it's ok! i am trying core this week; should be fun! how's everyone doing? i am pmsing too, whoever said that, and i know what you mean about staying out of the kitchen. i try to drink lots more water during this time and do stuff that gets me out of the house.
as for exercise, yeah i need more...someone kick my butt into gear!

what is core?
no school for the first time in years!!! literally, but studying for the nclex. then comes the pain of reality...work, i am going to go use the education that is bought and paid for so that i can earn the $ to travel, decorate my house and induldge my children/grandchildren allthingsbright : ) heres a kick in the butt...get with it 3 repititions of 10 : ) and no slacking or it'll be 4 reps
