any other students trying to lose weight?

ugh, i am working on some major poundage and am looking for other nursing students who understand the concept of STRESS eating! -----------------------------------:uhoh3:

anywho, i am on weight watchers and have lost over 40 pounds--with more to go. any takers? we can keep track of each other. i have three semesters left and my 34th birthday in in october--i want to lose about 20 pounds before my b-day and i want to look good in my whites at pinning! :)

I was down 2.6 this week. However that is over 2 weeks as I was camping for last weeks weigh in.

I think I will be up this week : ( I had two days in a row where I was HUNGRY ALL day! I think it had to do with drinking diet sodas. I have heard about studies where they say diet soda drinkers end up eating more calories than non diet soda drinkers. I had not had a diet soda in quite awhile, but found some deals where 12 packs were FREE (after rebate) so I bought some. It was also my TOM so I'm sure that had something to do with it.

Heather, I went off DC three weeks ago because of those same issues...and now if I even have one (when we are out at dineer) I am wired and crazy! I am really trying to stay away from it and drink H2O or Crystal Light. Even if you are up, I know you will stay commited! Don' sweat the small stuff, right?

Ugh, up 1.5 for me. Waaah. We had a family funeral this morning, and I've been baking since Wed. Can't keep my fingers out of the sweets! I don't even want to tell you all how many cookies I've eaten in the past couple of days. :uhoh3: I'm mad at myself, but determined not to let it get me down. I've been sticking to my water all week, so regardless, I've made some progress. Good luck next week all!!!

What a great topic. I have been on the WW point system since

December 05 and I lost 46 lbs. I love the way I feel now. I still have 50 lbs to go to reach a BMI of 25. Please add my goal for July 31st -185 lbs. I hope I can make that. The last 10 lbs have been so hard to take off.

Thanks so much, I needed that. The sugar is mostly gone from the house, the service was yesterday. I divied up the leftovers and almost all are gone from the house, kids had to keep some cookies, but they're not my favorite kinds, so I can stay away from them. Despite all the food, I was really good at the reception after the memorial service, and had a light supper last night. Today I'm going to visit my grandmother, and we're taking her out for lunch. I know the restaurant has a great grilled chicken, so that's what I'm having, hopefully can get a salad instead of rice (one of my major downfalls, I love rice). Well, must get showered and make sure kids are ready to go. Good job to all you "losers" ;) this week, and for those of us still working at it, keep the faith! Have a great week everyone!
