any other students trying to lose weight?

ugh, i am working on some major poundage and am looking for other nursing students who understand the concept of STRESS eating! -----------------------------------:uhoh3:

anywho, i am on weight watchers and have lost over 40 pounds--with more to go. any takers? we can keep track of each other. i have three semesters left and my 34th birthday in in october--i want to lose about 20 pounds before my b-day and i want to look good in my whites at pinning! :)

I haven't posted in awhile but I have been watching what I eat (no diet, just not eating like a pig like I normally do...lol) and working out about 5-6 days a week doing cardio and weights, I work out for an hour a day. I weighed myself last night and had lost a few pounds so I was happy to see some progress :)

I got some good advice from my aunt who lost 30 pounds last year and is finally able to keep all the weight off. She said she just worked out most days, drank a lot more water, and though still eating all her normal foods she just cut portions. Sure the weight loss was slower at about 2.5 pounds a month but she said it was easy to lose that way and very east to keep off.

personal goal to lose by sept 2nd is 8lbs and to run the 5k with my husband in a 15 min mile (used to run alot faster but i'm pretty heavy now). he and i weigh in on fridays so next saturday i will post for my saturday weight. this is great guys. keep it going.

how is everyone doing? i am struggling this week--with the holiday and all. i used all my wpa's yesterday so now i have to stick w/ 28 points today and tomorrow. lots of planning goes into that!

thinking of going on a field trip w/ the boys. i saw superman yesterday-it was so good!

this week and part of last week i have been staying w/my grandbabies while their parents are in france...there is no such thing as calorie conscience meals whilest spoiling the little ones! we spent the holiday (and everyday) that i've been here living it up...i will fly home on sunday night and then i will get back on track w/diet and studying too...

Ughh how do you get through PMS without eating everything in sight and still working out?!

I had to draggggggg my butt to the gym today just to do 30 mins on the ArcTrainer and then go in the hot tub after that. I am so beat and all I want is an ice cream (but I dont need it at all). How do you all stay motivated during those couple days a month when you just want to do nothing?

Losing weight is very important to me, because of health reasons. I don't need excuses like ohh one day wont kill you (and it wont it know), but I dont need to get derailed with my health goals. Maybe I just need to be easier on myself.

How do you girls get through that time of the month? I'm having a bad day today (emotionally and physically) but am glad I went to the gym anyways :) I still want a banana split though :(

well, i am up but it's ok! i am trying core this week; should be fun! how's everyone doing? i am pmsing too, whoever said that, and i know what you mean about staying out of the kitchen. i try to drink lots more water during this time and do stuff that gets me out of the house.

as for exercise, yeah i need more...someone kick my butt into gear!

is everyone getting ready for school this fall (those of you that are students)? what are you taking?

I was down 2.6 this week. However that is over 2 weeks as I was camping for last weeks weigh in.

I think I will be up this week : ( I had two days in a row where I was HUNGRY ALL day! I think it had to do with drinking diet sodas. I have heard about studies where they say diet soda drinkers end up eating more calories than non diet soda drinkers. I had not had a diet soda in quite awhile, but found some deals where 12 packs were FREE (after rebate) so I bought some. It was also my TOM so I'm sure that had something to do with it.
