Hi all,

Thought I'd start a thread here so we can connect. I am in the process of taking my pre-reqs and plan to submit my application by the Oct 2019 deadline for the Summer 2020 start.

I'm planning on attending the Sept 19 info session on campus - anyone else going?

Honestly I have no idea. I don't think there's any way to tell. The interview isn't the only factor as well. They take into account your prereq gpa, cum gpa, essay, letters of rec, and your assessment scores. So they hopefully won't write you off because the interview wasn't the best. They have to know that this is one of the biggest interviews of our nursing career so we are nervous you know?

There really isn't a reliable way.Maybe comparing your response to the others and analyzing their reaction after everyones's answer?........Is there anyone who is going to be moving from the city and starting from scratch?

I honestly don't know. I feel that the interviewers didn't give much away, they reacted to every question/person the same.

Hi,

I applied 10/1 and have heard from all other schools except SBU. I checked today and realized there’s an SBU portal we should’ve received information for 2 weeks post applying but I didn’t get anything. Is that how you guys found your decisions or offers for interviews? Or were you personally emailed? I’m stressing now so if someone could help me out I’d really really appreciate it.

My portal just says application submitted but I received an email about my interview. At the interview they told us admissions decisions would be sent via email. This week was the last week of interviews I believe? I could be mistaken.

You’re saying if we didn’t get an email to log into solar, we probably didn’t get in?? You have an email stating your log in for solar??

I think they were saying that we were emailed about interviews. I was told at interviews that we would receive an email (to the email we used to apply) with the acceptance/rejection decisions between Christmas and 1st week of January.
