StonyBrook ABSN: Class of 2021

Hi all,

Thought I'd start a thread here so we can connect. I am in the process of taking my pre-reqs and plan to submit my application by the Oct 2019 deadline for the Summer 2020 start.

I'm planning on attending the Sept 19 info session on campus - anyone else going?

Question for current or previous ABSN students. How does the ABSN winter break work? Do we have off the same undergraduate winter break as any other program?? Are there clinicals during winter break??

The wait is actually killing me. Does anyone know if interviews are completed this week? Should hear back 6-8 weeks after interviews.

I believe tomorrow is the last day they are holding interviews

Yeah I literally think about Stony Brook 100x a day lmao.... so the next few weeks is going to stink.... but from what I have seen/heard in past cycles rejections are sent out first (during the first week or two of December), alternate/wait list seats are send out next (last year was december 17th) and the acceptances were sent out last (last year starting on december 18th)... so no news seems to be good news lol. Fingers crossed for all of us!
