Hi all,
Thought I'd start a thread here so we can connect. I am in the process of taking my pre-reqs and plan to submit my application by the Oct 2019 deadline for the Summer 2020 start.
I'm planning on attending the Sept 19 info session on campus - anyone else going?

When I was at my interview last week one woman said 8 weeks from the start of interviews (which winds up being the week of Christmas) but another woman said first week of January... so probably some time between then.

Omg. The week of Christmas! Not a nice time to find out if you didn't get in! ?

It's not too bad. I would just watch youtube videos and do the problems along with the person. That's what I did. It's long division, fractions, addition, subtraction etc. All simple math but stuff that is easy to forget if you haven't done it in a long time (me- like literally years)

All I really did was print out some practice problems and do them. There were really no surprises on the test, it was exactly what they said it would be in their email!
Hi everyone, I did my interview yesterday and I don't think I did so well. I really got caught off guard with the first question of the interview and did not feel I had enough time to gather my thoughts to give a good answer. But now it's all up to them. I hope I get a spot or even wait-listed. These eight weeks will be hard for me...Good luck everyone.

@Andray7211 Hey! I just wanted to reach out and say that I've been feeling the same way since my interview. I was really looking forward to my pre-interview anxiety going away once it was over, and my adrenaline took care of any doubts for the remainder of that day; however the day after was the worst, ha. I think I did fine during the interview, but I also don't think that I allowed my more original or "raw" qualities to translate. That's the issue in a group interview sometimes... it's a whole different animal when it comes to situational self-awareness and not letting allowing other peoples answers to affect yours, or being more worried about answering a question first to demonstrate leadership, and so on.
The truth in the matter is, we have no idea what their rubric for the interview was. It could literally be as simple as, "Can form a complete thought verbally" or "has no face tattoos" lol. I remember reading somewhere how somebody said the answers to the interview questions don't count as much as the overall applicants qualities. I'm trying to stick with that optimism, even though I am in the same boat as you (and likely many others). The reality of waiting 8 weeks is heavy, and my pre-interview anxiety has not gone away, haha.
Hey guys. I feel the same way. A lot of people I spoke to said they didn’t feel amazing about how it went for them either. I personally feel like some of my answers were too general or too short, but we’ll see! I’m trying to (somehow) force myself to not think about it at least until the second week of December, which I recognize is nearly impossible lol

Hi! I felt the same exact way! I knew how I wanted to answer the questions but everything came out so jumbled or at least that’s how I felt. Positive vibes and good luck to everyone!

I am honestly unsure. I know that there are more interviews next week too. Last year I think multiple interview waves went out but in my interview last week they said there are 3 weeks of interviews so that made me think all the invites went out. I feel like they need to give two weeks notice you know? But I think that they can request an interview up until the acceptances go out.
