Anyone else applying to the Accelerated BSN?? Deadline is November 1st ... YIKES! ... ... need moral support
!!
Got a letter in the mail today. First line read, "Congratulations on your offer of admission to our 12 month accelerated nursing program!" The rest of the letter talks about a scholarship. I didn't get a packet in the mail or anything, I have give them a call and see if they mailed out an acceptance letter to me yet, or if it got lost in the mail. Has anyone else got this letter and only this letter yet?

hi slider313,
i got that mail over the weekend too. it came in a small envelope! but i got my acceptance letter sometime last week. so perhaps your acceptance letter got lost in the mail? good luck to you and i hope you hear back from them soon!
So....I FINALLY got my letter in the mail today. It's a denial Trying to stay optimistic. I am keeping my fingers crossed for an offer at Binghamton or Univ of Rochester!!
CONGRATULATIONS to all who got accepted
For those of you who are curious, I graduated with a B.S. in Exercise Science in May '09 from SUNY Buffalo and completed an internship at cardiac rehab unit of NYU Medical.
I've finally read through the thread... didn't want to get lost in the madness, but I am now. I checked SOLAR, & no changes, but I haven't received any letter either. I'm scared... I may have just jinxed myself. Has anyone got any waitlist letters w/o SOLAR changing? Slider313, how's your SOLAR even w/ the mix up? haha... I sound crazy. Bleh.

Requiring a research degree for an NP is pretty silly in my opinion. A business degree would be a heck of a lot more useful.
