Stony brook accelerated nursing class of 2019

Just wanted to start this thread to see if anyone else has applied to the 12 month accelerated nursing program at stony brook!

I got put an alternate list....what does that mean as opposed to being wait listed

I thought this would be helpful -

I was also put on the alternate list. I spoke to the School of Nursing and told them I am starting to plan my wedding and it would be helpful if they could tell me what my chances of getting in were, so I can plan accordingly.

They replied "congratulations on your acceptance into the program and your upcoming nuptials". She said they almost always "go through" all of those on the waitlist, but it's no guarantee - but that I should make sure all of my documentation is submitted by May.
