Stony brook accelerated nursing class of 2019

Just wanted to start this thread to see if anyone else has applied to the 12 month accelerated nursing program at stony brook!

Hey guys... got accepted as well! lets get a group page going on facebook or something! By the way... my solar glitched and my admissions decision on my end did not go through properly. My decision from the school is not there anymore... should we just wait until tomorrow or the day after to try again?

I was able to hit accept and then i was forwarded to a page that said we look forward to seeing you, and then it disappeared, but i assume it went through! haha

The acceptance option still hasn't appeared for me, but they did say it could take up to 48 hours. What tab was it under? I hope I'm not missing it!

I agree about facebook group! If anyone feels comfortable posting their names I could make it. Or, my name is Coleen Bergin on Facebook if someone else wants to start it :)

I was accepted as well! I'm SUPER excited! Any ideas on employment data for grads though? Is it pretty easy to find a job? Someone in my group tried asking during the interview but they really didn't give a straight answer.

I dont know about official data, but i've spoken to a few alumni from the program and they seemed to get a job within a few months of passing the NCLEX

I went to home on solar, then under the student admission tab I clicked "admission decision response"

Someone made a group way in advance out of excitement a couple months back haha. It's under "stony brook Accelerated BSN class of 2019". The only problem with that is if the person wasn't accepted, they are the admin, and only they can approve us to join. Should I make one anyway, or see if we can join that one first?

Another question! Does anyone know how many terms this program is? I am trying to figure out the finances now!

Should be summer 2018, fall 2018, spring 2019, not sure if winter counts at all?
