Just wanted to start this thread to see if anyone else has applied to the 12 month accelerated nursing program at stony brook!

I got put an alternate list....what does that mean as opposed to being wait listed

I emailed a question and received a response almost immediately, so that's an option.

It sounds similar to a wait list, but maybe higher priority?

No, not yet. I called student services to confirm, they said we should be able to in the next 24 to 48 hours. Congrats!

Hey guys! My name is Jessica. I have been a silent lurker since the summer, call me superstitious, but I felt if I commented before I got in I would jinx myself lol. I just received my acceptance offer, so now I feel the coast is clear and I can finally post something 😬😬😬. Congrats to everyone who got accepted. If you didn't, it wasn't meant to be. God has a different path you are supposed to take to become an RN, and that path is way better for you than Stony! That's how I was planning to look at it if I didn't get in.
