Stony brook accelerated nursing class of 2019

Just wanted to start this thread to see if anyone else has applied to the 12 month accelerated nursing program at stony brook!

Danggggg does anyone have any insights on when they're going to release their decisions!!! :'(

I would think this week or next. I saw last year people found out on Dec 27th..

I just have to get these letters knocked out. That's the worst part. But Jared, apparently decisions are already made. Can be literally any day. I wish you luck brother. This program has been literally in my dreams every day haha. You mind me asking what wave you were in?

Gotcha! I asked my recommenders to submit for both programs all in the same go. It is always stressful nudging people :p. Good luck to you too! I was in the first wave... was actually the first interview group on the first day of interviewing so decisions on us were probably made before everybody else if anything

I'm also dreading to start another application. Also don't want to pesk the people who wrote my recommendation letters. Especially this close to the holidays.

I reached out to HSC to see if they can do anything for us. Jan pretty much told us if we got an interview for the accelerated we would get one for the 2 year. If that is the case... why cant we just transfer our file! ahhhh. Jared is ahead of the game.

Did anyone get emailed a financial aid notification from Stony Brook saying their fafsa was received? Does this mean anything as far as admission? I don't want to get my hopes up í ½í¸‚

I actually did not submit FAFSA information to Stony Brook, therefore my answer would not be helpful on that end.

Hopefully we will all know today about their decision!!! I need to know now before I start a brand new application to other schools! :( :( :(
