Uh, starting over again.
I am so sorry to hear, this entire process is so stressful. Don't give up- you now know what the test is like. You can do this!!!

look at it this way. it's possible to have had enough right up to #73 to have passed no matter what happened on #s 74 and 75, and they have to give everyone a minimum of 75.
i don't know for sure what your results were-- you don't really, yet, either, but best wishes.

Nurseadam, now that you have taken NCLEX, what do you think you should have done differently? Did you use Kaplan, Saunders, Hurst or any other review materials?

ok, I guess I am confused.. what is the "CC" you were referred to? they way I understand it, there is NO way to know ENTIRELY for sure until the BON notifies you officially.
When I took NCLEX, there were all kinds of "hints" to see if you passed--thick envelope vs thin, white vs manilla colored, etc.
TRUTH is, until the BON tells you, anything else is conjecture and wishful thinking. Don't give up until you ge the info from BON!!!! ( In my limited experience-- It is unusual for someone taking just 75 to fail, but it can happen!)
If you did, indeed, fail, then pay attention to what they say you need to work on, and do it. PLEASE don't over study or over stress, that can hurt you more than you think. The OFFICIAL BON letter will tell you what to do in order to re-test. JMHO

@msd1 the CC she is refering to, is the credit card payment on the Pearson Vue page to register to take the NCLEX. If you passed the test it wont let you go to the CC part and you will get a message saying "this person has already registered/taken the test and to check with the BON"
There are threads upon threads of nursing students/new grads asking about it and giving their result for the Pearson Vue trick.
OP - I am sorry, what study materials did you use, I used a Hurts live and it really helped clarify and focus for the test
Probably gave myself more time to study. Although i felt like I knew most of the questions, except the "drag and drop in a correct sequence." I only had 3 SATA, i think i got them right. And A LOT OF prioritzations which is probably what failed me. I can say honestly, it was easier than I thought, but i guessed on some questions, and I always had it to 2 options.
I studied saunders (didn't finish it or even half) , i did kaplan book questions (not all), i did some La charity chapters and did Saunders Q & A for NCLEX (best book i have came across)
I think NCLEX is mostly contents, so Hurst is what i'd go for if you want to pass, kaplan book didn't help me at all actually.
I'm going to give myself 6 weeks to study saunders, la chairty and hope everything goes well for my 2nd time:(
