4) Life happens....nursing school is stressful... learn to roll with it. Ditch the extraneous stressers that try to grenade you. AND practice NCLEX questions every day!

5) I am my own greatest motivation. I've supported a husband through 28 years of military service, raised 2 kids through college, 1 through EMT school, and now another in college. Going to focus on me for awhile. :D

I think of how my gram would be proud of me if she was still here. Also, I would love to my daughter one day announce happily to classmates that "My mommy is nurse!"

My daughter, to be able to provide for her and never worry if I can.

5. My motivations are my husband (currently deployed) and my beautiful girls! They are proud of there momma and they tell everyone that it is never too late to live your dream!

4. I would have to say trusting in God as well. I feel that without Him, I would not be where I am today and I will not be able to make it on my own these next two years either! In these past two years while completing my prereqs, I believe He has shown me that I can and will succeed!

5. I have been a stay at home for the past 12 years, so part of my motivation is my family and a big part is for myself. When I was little, I always wanted 4-5 kids, be a stay at home mom and lastly become a nurse. I guess you could say I am working on my last goal in life, however, I also would like baby #5! :)

1) Start: September 8th

2) Boston, MA - Simmons College

3) BSN program.. I'm starting my third year but this is going to be my first year of actual nursing classes, first two years were just pre-reqs

4) "Take it one day at a time."

5) My greatest motivation is to get out of my currently family situation. My father is an alcoholic and it really tears me apart that I can't help him (he's still deep in denial) so I really want to make it as a nurse so I can help those who are willing to accept help.
