  1. I am not 100% sure on this but when I first started taking courses at CTC last summer, my advisor said that you have to get As and Bs in all of your classes because they won't even look at someone with Cs. Now ... that may not be completely true but the ones that I have spoken with so far that were accepted all had 4.0s and I have a 3.8 because I made two Bs. If you make a C in there, I would try to retake it for a better grade if you have the chance. It is VERY competitive. I had a couple of friends who made Cs this past quarter and were not accepted.
  2. I just spoke with the administrative assistant with the RN Program and she recommended just waiting a bit to purchase the textbooks because some of the books are changing. Also, she said we will receive a 41 page handbook at orientation that will give us lots of information and we will be receiving uniforms some time in October.
  3. AshtonJosie .... I just saw your post. If you go to Banner Web you can see your full schedule that we are already registered for. Also, I have not seen a book list yet as I, too, are trying to get some of the books now instead of waiting until the last minute. Hopefully I can find something out soon and if I do I will pass the information along.
  4. I have 18 because I am having to take Microbiology along with the nursing classes. So .... it will require even more effort on my part. I am ready for the challenge.
  5. August 23, 2011 Georgia ADN Never think that I can't do it because I can My family and myself =)
  6. Congratulations! I just registered at this site after I received my acceptance letter a couple of weeks ago. I am sure we will be seeing posts from each other in the future.
  7. I have friends who also did not make it in the program with me so I am also looking forward to meeting everyone and making new friendships. I am also wondering who else I might recognize when I arrive to orientation. =)
  8. I know there are a couple of other people here that have been accepted as well. I am also trying to see who I can get to know before orientation. =) By the way .... CONGRATULATIONS! It is so exciting.
  9. Thanks so much for that information. I just joined the Facebook page. =) I am so excited and cannot WAIT to meet all of you.
  10. I just received my acceptance letter yesterday and am super excited! I have a 3.8 GPA (because of ONE B ... UGH ... seems unfair) and made an 87 on my NLN Exam which is what is required for us. Classes will begin on August 23. =) Congratulations to us all on being accepted into nursing school. WOO HOO!
  11. I just registered at this site and was reading all of the posts on the thread. I, too, just received my letter today and was accepted into the program so I suppose I will be meeting you all as well at orientation on August 15. I am so excited!
