St pete college fall 2013

Published

Hello,

I have read previous posts on here over the last few months regarding admission to SPC's AS Nursing program. I applied for the fall 2013 semester. Are there any applicants out there who also applied? I am playing the waiting game. Do any previous applicants know how long it takes to hear if you are accepted or not, once the application window closes? Thank you:)

Thanks for the info on Nursing I clinical sites, haimyem! HealthSouth Rehab is literally a mile and a half from where I live. That would be really convenient.

I am applying for the morning rotation, I have a friend in the morning rotation enterining her third semester next fall. She told me morning learns alot more than evening rotation because it is alot businer during the day than it is at night. Plus the morning instructors are alot more helpful and knowledgeable than the evening instructors who are grouchy.

Thank you, haimyem!

Emails are getting sent out - I got accepted. SO relieved right now.

Congrats highwaygirl!!! I got accepted also. Huge relief.

Congrats, RNS2B! Did you ever hear anything from the EAYL program?

To people waiting on emails - I applied to the straight ADN program. I have two friends who applied to the LPN bridge program and they have not yet received any emails. So maybe the letters are going out in batches by program.

Congrats RNS2B_2013 and Highwaygirl! I got accepted too! :roflmao:

Congrats SKFord!

I love how, right away, we have to part with $188 for the drug and background check. :yuck:

I know! The first semester is going to be super expensive!

Congrats SKFord!!!

Highwaygirl, no I have not heard from the EAYL yet. I saw someone had posted that they knew someone that got in last week. But I haven't heard yes or no from them :-(

At least I'm in through SPC. The EAYL would be an added bonus!

DRUMROLL.........

Thank you for submitting your health program application to the Health Education Center. You have been APPROVED to begin the admission process for the Associate in Science in nursing beginning in the fall 2013 term

Glad that's over!!!!

YEA!!! ACCEPTED! I am relieved and stressed at the same time. My friend will be finishing her final semester at spc this fall. she said we need to be prepared to shell out close to 300.00 the first semester for drug screenings, equipment/ scrubs and background checks. Books this semester will be about 1500.00; but we will use them for the next 4 semesters
