Hello,
I have read previous posts on here over the last few months regarding admission to SPC's AS Nursing program. I applied for the fall 2013 semester. Are there any applicants out there who also applied? I am playing the waiting game. Do any previous applicants know how long it takes to hear if you are accepted or not, once the application window closes? Thank you:)
Well at most we only have one more week to wait!
I've been passing time looking at stethoscopes, rolling bags, white shoes, and different scrubs styles. Oh and starting my vaccinations. My titers for mumps and rubella were positive, but the measles titer was inconclusive, which means I have to get the whole MMR again. Started the Hep B series and next week I'm going to get the first of two TB skin tests. The Pinellas County Health Department had lower prices on these things than my doctor did, so if anyone is looking to save some money I'd check out the health department.
Edit: Here is a link to the price sheet for vaccinations/titers at the Pinellas County Health Department - http://www.pinellashealth.com/Immunizations/IMM_PRICE_LIST03-06-13.pdf
Thanks for the info highwaygirl! That will be a huge help!
These emails can't come soon enough. I am ready to know how to plan my life for the next few months. Unfortunately, I believe the waiting will start all over for me. However, it will be different the next time around.
It is nice to have people to wait with though! Good luck to everyone!!!
Yep, no appointments necessary for vaccinations at your local county health department. You may have to wait a little bit depending upon how busy they are (I love people watching so waiting is fine by me).
I'm at about a 5 on this scale when it comes to waiting for The Email: http://i.imgur.com/5WhV57u.png?1
