Hey Mhasan, Thank you for telling us about the financial aid office expanding your book line of credit. I emailed them yesterday and am hoping to get a response soon. I can not come out of pocket 420.00 right now with everything else we are paying for, not to mention kids school supplies! Did you speak with someone specific? which campus did you go to? sorry for 20 questions. If I do not hear back I will go into the office on Thursday and just want to know who I should speak with. Hey everyone, I ordered my books online and they just came in to the bookstore. I am out of town but was wondering if your book line of credit covered everything or if you had to come out of pocket for some or all of them. Also, I looked on angel for the Tampa General thing, but wasn't able to find anything. Just curious where it is and what it is. I have my ATI testing on the 13th a little nervous about the metric system!

Hey everyone. I have a question. I had my titers done and my Varicella titer came back IGG positive but IGM negative, I had the shots and the chicken pox as a child and had a positive titer done last year when I was pregnant with my son. Do I still need to have the shots? I have left a few messages at the HEC center but have yet to receive a call back. Also, my HEP B came back "not immune" do I need the 3 series or just the booster? Thanks!

Congrats alternates! Highwaygirl, I too am taking loans and financial aid. Why are you waiting to get the HEC ID? I have not yet gotten mine. Will financial aid cover this? Also, my tuition due date is now sometime in October. Financial aid usually comes in 4 weeks after classes start. Does anyone know if this has changed? Maybe the money will not be in until October instead of September?

Let me know what they tell you. My class number is 1236. What is yours? My schedule doesn't specify a hospital. I just know that I chose her because she was at health south, but it appears she is also at bay pines. So, now I am really not sure.

Moskiu77, I had titers run last week. Just waiting on the results. I was told that the health dept has all the immunizations and you do not need an appointment. I was also told that most of the doctors offices must order the hep B shot because they expire. Have you already completed the CPR class? I still have to do it. I ordered my books today, they should be in sometime next week.

I also got first choice! Night program with Anne Morris and Angela Clem. It is at HealthSouth also. Anyone else doing this shift?

I guess what I am asking is what is the course and section information for nursing 1?

ugh..... I am so overwhelmed. where did you guys find out the info on the books and the skill kit? How do I look up the nursing 1 info at the book store online? Where did you purchase your skills kit? How much was it? Thanks so much for the info about the scrubs and shoes! The night program will be a lot, but I have 3 kids and am in the process of opening a daycare, so night is my only option. I need my husband to be able to get the kids. I cannot afford 350.00 a week in childcare if I am not working. Is any one else going to the night program? Thanks so much for all the great information!!

YEA!!! ACCEPTED! I am relieved and stressed at the same time. My friend will be finishing her final semester at spc this fall. she said we need to be prepared to shell out close to 300.00 the first semester for drug screenings, equipment/ scrubs and background checks. Books this semester will be about 1500.00; but we will use them for the next 4 semesters
