Hello,

I have read previous posts on here over the last few months regarding admission to SPC's AS Nursing program. I applied for the fall 2013 semester. Are there any applicants out there who also applied? I am playing the waiting game. Do any previous applicants know how long it takes to hear if you are accepted or not, once the application window closes? Thank you:)

I did the ATI testing this morning. 3 to 4 hours of just testing...ughhhh. walked away with a headache :)

Is the ATI testing for the traditional ADN program? I am in the transition program and haven't heard of it

SKFORD they are going to provide you a shirt from TGH to wear. I dont know if you get to keep it or not. As far as clothes, no shorts or jeans, so either wear khakis or scrubs. TGH has red tops and black bottoms scurbs. You can shoot her an email and ask her what to wear if need be, she's great as responding back quickly.

Hey Chris0003! I am an alternate hoping to get into the nursing program for fall. Did you get accepted for the nursing program or the LPN bridge program. And if it was for the nursing program what number alternate were you? :) Thanks for any info you can give me, just trying to figure out where they are on the list.

Jahorra ( or anyone else that knows),

I know there will be some questions using the metric system and I am wondering if they give you the more difficult conversions in the question. Example: 1gallon= 3.785 liters. How many liters are in 5 gallons?

Or if we have to know all conversions to answer the questions.

I also took the ATI yesterday morning. Honestly guys this is an assessment test. There really is no studying or preparation for it. You are doing yourself an injustice if you do not allow yourself to have a true assessment of where you are at. It is only meant to help you work on areas where you are weak, so if you try to memorize things that may or may not be on there, then you are not helping yourself in the long run. its a drag but nothing we haven't all had to do before. Hope this helps
