  1. @hwgirl...thanks Also, I was reading in the handbook about our white shoes. I got taken back when it said it can not have a logo on it. did anyone else get any shoes with a logo on it?(ex. Nike)
  2. @highwaygirl.......I read this...(a binder with colored dividers)In order to do this you must have a blue, 2 inch three ring binder with dividers. The following are to be kept in the portfolio at all times. The information is to be divided by these categories and each section appropriately identified. 1. Wellness Project - green folder 2. Well Elder Visits Summary/Others - yellow folder 3. Clinical Preps – blue folder* 4. Interaction Process Analyses (IPA) - red folder 5. ATI Test Results/Facilitation Plans/Documentation that you have completed recommendations on
  3. I know we have to report to school on the first clinical days at 7 am and 3 pm....Just want to make sure that it is going to be Monday for everyone..right?
  4. nbluextc.......I just checked my email, and I did too
  5. sorry guys...I got a few private messages and I cant see them until I have 15 postings...if you need anything, my email is [email protected]
  6. I didn't mean to freak anyone out. But just like mommytothree said, and the guy at the testing lab, the test lets you know where your weak and strong points are. and if you do have weak points then they will just let you know so you can get yourself stronger at it. Its a 5 part test. ENGLISH-wanna make sure you understand main ideas, story information etec. MATH- know your fractions, simple algebra, and volume in metric system. SCIENCE- stuff you learned in A&P 1and 2 and through out life. and if I remember correctly, spelling and punctuation stuff. THe last test was critical thinking--like what you understood the sentence given.. From what I heard from previous nursing students, this is the simplest out of all the ATI tests. It really isn't too hard, just LOOONG :)
  7. I did the ATI testing this morning. 3 to 4 hours of just testing...ughhhh. walked away with a headache :)
  8. @JenniferWarner.....I am going to do my at my Dr's but when I was at the health center, the lady there told me that MedExpress actually give huge discounts to SPC students to do their physicals there...I would check them out. As for CPR, I did mine at Babcock Health services on 5th ave and 26 st...it was 45$ and I was out in less than 3 hours...Great teacher too, I had fun in it.
  9. mommytothree.....you have to upload the receipt to the CreditProfile Page
  10. highwaygirl....thanks so much...That was clever of you to take a photo!
  11. Congrats to all who made it. Long time reader, first time poster. I got my schedule for nights for Anne Morris/ Morris......does anyone know what hospital she does? My first choice was Bay Pines but I cant remember who the instructor was on the paper. how can I find out...I tried calling but I have to have someone call me back.
