  1. Thank You both! Getting Nervous :)
  2. Thank You so much SKFord713 ! I can't send you a personal message because I haven't reached the mighty "15" mark yet...lol My email is [email protected] Thank You again :)
  3. Hey Guys, SUPER SILLY QUESTION.... I know the Handbook was on the Nursing Commons as of a few weeks ago, but now all of a sudden its not there ( Or at least I cannot locate it). I went under Lessons-> Modules (Syllabus) & Handbook -> and then I see the Syllabus, but I do not see the handbook? Is anyone else having this issue? ANY help on this would greatly be appreciated :) Thanks
  4. nbluextc, I just called Office Depot and YES you can use the tax exemption if you do it this weekend. Also, Under College of Nursing Student Commons (ADN Program) --> Lessons--> Modules (Syllabus) & Handbook--> NUR 1021C MODULE/SYLLABUS 2013-2014
  5. Thank You Highwaygirl!!! That was so nice of you to post that coupon. I was just wondering, what "both" items are you having printed? Is it COMPLETE NUR 1021C MODULE/SYLLABUS 2013-2014 AND NUR 1021C CLINICAL GUIDE 2013-2014 ? Are you printing the 3rd link too? (NUR 1021C MODULE/SYLLABUS BY UNIT 2013-2014 ) I am just a tad confused because there are several links.... Thank You
  6. Sportsgirl5, I wish I could answer this for you because I can feel your anxiety. At this point, my only suggestion to you would be to call the HEC campus to try to find out. Sorry I can't be of more help! Best of luck to you!
  7. I also took the ATI yesterday morning. Honestly guys this is an assessment test. There really is no studying or preparation for it. You are doing yourself an injustice if you do not allow yourself to have a true assessment of where you are at. It is only meant to help you work on areas where you are weak, so if you try to memorize things that may or may not be on there, then you are not helping yourself in the long run. its a drag but nothing we haven't all had to do before. Hope this helps
  8. CONGRATS!!!!!!! :) Welcome to The Nervous Reck Club :)
  9. LOL...WOW! I think I am just going to play it safe and go to the HEC campus to get one. Also, I dont know if this is of any help, or if it is the case for the Nursing Program, but I have a friend that said students that are paying their tuition that have Financial Aid is not due until sometime in late October...because that is when it is expected to come in.... Thats about all I know, sorry.
  10. Also, about the ID cards. Yes we do need to have an HEC ID... You must have your fee schedule and then take that with you to get one. ( I am not sure where) But I do know the lady in the business office told us that in Orientation
  11. I think it shows up in MYSPC once you have registered for your ATI test date... Have you done that yet?
  12. Highwaygirl.... I got my questions answered Thank You. She said that the confirmation email that we received when we signed up for the ATI test is not to be uploaded...even though it says "Put this in your portfolio"... She confirmed that we will get a signature page once we are done with the test, and that is what we upload. As for the Action Plan... She said that will be taken care of the first few days of class so do nothing with that in MYSPC. Also, not sure if you guys were aware, but I got a breakdown of the tuition as it is clearly different than the schedule of fees that we received at Orientation. The tuition includes the Lab Fees, Liability Insurance, AND ATI Testing Fee!!!!!!! That was a nice little surprise :)
  13. Thank you...I'm just going to go to the school and ask in person. When you log into MYSPC, in the status section, under "To-do Lists".... Mine says "Create an Action Plan" 7/30/2013, then it says "Complete an Action Plan" 8/19/2013. I just don't know what this is or what I am supposed to do. I guess just another question that I need to add to my list. Yeah I think Im going to wait on printing the syllabus, thanks
  14. Does anyone have a good contact # for the HEC campus? Even after orientation, I still have a few questions that need to be cleared up and I have absolutely no success in getting through. Does anyone know if we are supposed to print the syllabus in the lessons tab? It is for 2012-2013, so I am hesitant. Also, in my SPC, it says that our Action Plan has been initiated but has to complete by 8/19.....I have no clue where that came from, Also is the ATI signature page the email that they sent us when we registered for our ATI test date? ANY help on ANY of these would so helpful, or a good contact would greatly be appreciated as well! Thanks in advance :)
